Cmon, now, give him/her a nice gift and a card, and see what happens. You may be surprised.
Think about how you would you feel if someone did that to you. Now think about how you would you feel if you deserved that mound of doody and someone did something nice for you instead.
Boy, would you ever respect that person. And you might change your ways, whatever they are.
NOW what sounds like the better choice?

Obviously you have a very good working relationship with your boss. Do you know if he/she likes rednecks though? Some people get upset about that (I don't, but hey, I'm not your boss).
