My daughter, who's 17, asked me a question last night while we were watching an old Disney movie. The question was..." What is Mary Poppins?" Not WHO, but WHAT? I really had no answer except Nanny? Angel? Counselor? So I'm putting the question here...maybe one of you can answer it better than I could? She did state "She lives in the clouds at the beginning of the movie." True, she does...she straightens up her "charges" and brings families back together and all done on the whim of the wind...half counselor/half angel? I truly have NO idea! ....so, Yahoo! Romans 3, verse 10 says, "...as it is written: 'None is righteous, no, not one.'" Yet, James 5:16 says that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. If absolutely no one is righteous, then who is James talking about? Luke chapter 1 says that Elizabeth and Zechariah were righteous before God. If absolutely no one is righteous, then how can that be? Is Scripture contradicting itself? No, the folks who interpret Romans as saying absolutely, without exception, no one is righteous, are misinterpreting that passage. They are failing to realize that the key to understanding Romans 3:10 is the phrase, "it is written."

Do black people (or African-Americans, egyptians, jamaicans...etc) get offended when they are called black? (by other races) If you're American, do you prefer African American? But not all black people are from Africa, so technically, the term "African American" is wrong, isn't it? Plus, if a black friend calls you their "N" word, why is it wrong for you to do the same? It's kind of weird to me, and I want to know why this is. My friends told me they don't care if I call them black, (i'm asian) but it's an insult if I call them my "N" word. Is it because of slavery in the past? I just wanted other people's views. Is it wrong for caucasians to be called white? Is it an insult for a caucasian to be called white by another race?

The Qurânic presentation of the story of Noah and the flood does not conflict with scientific evidence or archaeological data; firstly, the Qurân does not indicate any specific date or year of the occurance of that event, and secondly, according to the Qurân the flood was not a universal phenomenon which destroyed complete life on earth. In fact the Qurân specifically mentions that the flood was a localised event only involving the people of Noah. Quran is the real word of God. Remember There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is the Messenger of Allah. note: Allah is an arabic word meaning God. (Peace be upon Him) is used in respect for our beloved Prophet. It is illogical to assume that Prophet Muhummad (peace be upon Him) had borrowed the story of NOAH (PBUH) AND THE FLOOD from the Bible and corrected the mistakes before mentioning it in the Qurân.

There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is the Last Messenger of Allah
