Well, I'm 14 and a half years old girl, and at the past I always loved boys, they really shaked me with their handsome appearance, but this was until I have known my classmate, my friend. She moved away, but now I feel love for girls and my parents hate homosexuality. If I tell 'em, maybe they'll put me out from the house cause of this. Ever, since I dream "love-dreams", I have kissed only GIRLS, not boys, already.
How can I tell my parents this, my classmate what will do with me? I'm confused... I don't wanna that my friend feels bad cause of me, and others too. Please help me!

I mean, think! Arrows, bows powerful enough to kill an animal (even though we'll be shooting at foam ones), woods, DARK! Just a couple of teeny flashlights.... Can you believe this is legal? Whee! No, we won't be the only ones there....it's a competition.
Wish me luck, too! I really want to win something!

Three gay men named Sam, Rick, & Joe went to church. The preacher stood up and preached about the sins of fornication, adultery and homosexuality. Sam stood up and started clapping his hands in protest of the sermon. Rick stood up and followed suit with the protest and started clapping his hands also. Joe lowered his head and as a tear dropped to the ground and said "God be merciful to me a sinner!"

Tell me which of the three men went home justified that day?

Tell me which of the three men is doing the work of their father the devil?

Tell me which of the three men is the one who has the blood of Rick on his hands?

Ok. This is about the use of the word "sweet." I honestly think that me and my friends thought of it, and I need some honest feedback. I am all for being proven wrong, so hear me out, and then let me know honestly what you think. This would probably be around 1996, but me friends used to play this really old crappy game where you actually make a salad!(how retartded!). and one of the really obnoxious sayings in that game was "you're making a SWEET salad!"(this was if you were adding fruits, etc)..when it would say sweet, it would be really high pitched, and we hated it, so we started saying everything was "sweet." this was back in 1996. we basically loved being retarted, we didn't care what people thought of us, and honestly, we had so many people make fun of us. i used to say it so much, that i remember this one girl would make fun of me all the time. And now, its like a common saying. I had never heard of it being said before then, and im really curious what people think.

To save you the bother of checking my profile, I am an atheist! I have been 'slagging off ' religion on this forum for some months.
But now I need your help!!
I am pretty well up on the contents of the bible, (old and new testaments) and also many many other religious books!
I am presently 'putting a book together' for a friend, the book will contain "messages" recieved from the 'spirit world'
I have already placed this question on the philosophy page, and had a few replies!
Now have you read or have any reference to these words!
"What use is time"?
"What use is scale"?(as in measurement)
When neither exists outside of man.
If you can help I may stop 'slagging you off' (for a while)!!

Willys cynical thought for the day,

Many believe that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Yeah, like *that's* freaking true?

Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft ... Today, it's called golf.

Also, why is it that Muslims have a problem everywhere, what is that makes them not get along well with the non-Muslims around them?

Why are they always whining about injustices heaped onto their community, when in fact non-Muslims have also been victims of injustice since earlier times?

And, as someone said:The problems with Muslims is that wherever they are in a minority, they talk about democartic rights, and wherever they are in a majority they fight for theocracy.. why is that?

Why are the regions with substantial Muslim populations all over the world, center of unrest.. be it Middle East, Russia, India, Europe, Philipines, Thailand, Pakistan, Africa etc.?

Moreover, why don't they want to change with the times and join the rest of humanity in making this planet a better place to live... why is it they still want to live in the past and not place emphasis on current issues like education, family planning, environment and rest of the sundry stuff?

I work for a major financial corporation, and am constantly amazed and amused in meetings at work by people who misuse common phrases by getting one or more words wrong. For example, I often hear someone talking about "flushing out the details" of a project (instead of "fleshing out") or wondering what the next problem will be to "come down the pipe" (instead of "come down the pike") Are we a nation obsessed with plumbing? (ha) Just kidding. But does anyone else have any good ones they've heard (plumbing related or otherwise?)

Im not a religious person but one day I was lookin in a bible and flipped to revelation and saw this and thought it sounded cool Im not preaching to anyone just want see what you think

For true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants." And again they shouted:
"Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever

I listen to all kinds of music and lately so many songs are mentioning Jesus and God and stuff. Songs done by artists that are not considered "Christian" in genre ex: Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, Carrie Underwood etc. even some pop artists are talking about Jesus and God (in a good way!!) .. So tell me a line in a song that has touched you. Please include the song title and artist if you know it. I'm going to make a webpage of all the answers..
