DC Talk has a song called "What if I Stumble". The 1st phrase of the song is "The greatest cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who profess to know God with their mouths, but deny Him with their lives. This is what an unbelieving world finds totally unbelievable". I am a Christian and I totally agree with this. What are your thoughts?

A jehovah's knocked on my door,i was on a hurry but i've alwasy believed in the cross and he told me to look up in a dictionary the word that appears in the bible were jesus was hunged: "crux" in hebrew does anybody know the meaning of it??

Why don't christians put into practise their harsh mode of punishments as per the bible?
like Leviticus 20:10 and Deuteronomy 22:22 which says that who commits adultry shall be put to death
and when jesus said in Mark 10:11 ("Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her." )
and Mark 10:12 "And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." and also in Luke 16:18
I noticed here by living in the US, that more than 50% of the population is divorced. People divorce each others, and marry other people and still attend Churches and consider themselves Christians.

Hola Jennifer, primeramente quiero pedirte disculpas por no dar respuesta a tu correoantes, pasa que compré con mi hermana Mónica un punto de llamadas y hemos estado en limpieza y arreglos el sábado y domingo, hoy empecé con ese trabajo, claro que yo solo iré a las 14:00 hras. para retirar el dinero y mi hermana irá a las 21:00 hra.como todo está computarizado no hay pena,se trabaja de Lunes a Domingo; Dios quiera que nos vaya bien, ya tiene sus clientes que van y tenemos en frente a la terminal de buses departamentales y nacionales que llegan y salen todos los dias entonces hay bastante movimiento. Ya te contare como nos va. Contame que es de Gabriela,mi bella, ya se sanó de la diarrea? como quedó? no se adelgazó mucho?,me le das muchos besos de la abuela.
Me alegra que la ropa que le envié le hubiera hecho, luego te enviaré lo demas que compré. I know the Hinduism & Buddhism religions define karma as the state of one's current life based on their actions in a previous life (re-incarnation). Well I'm not into all of that, but I believe what goes around comes around. Is that actually karma, spirituality, or just good advice?

I have a serious problem with my fellow Humans attitude that somehow we are the most "Intelligent "animal on the planet.Take a good look at Human "Intelligence" working around the globe: We have created a bomb to kill every single living thing on the Planet, Global Warming, Out of control Human Populations destroying other species Habitats, massive pollution of the Land Sea and Air. Does this sound like INTELLIGENCE at work !The natural world does not give a damn about the theory of Relativity or the painting of a beautiful picture. Only Humans do!. Can you think of ONE thing where Human Intelligence has benefited the Planet. I can't !.It only benefits other Humans.I see myself equal to the dog. the lamb,and Hyena maybe even inferior as they have survived on this planet longer than Humans, The Alligator has the most supreme intelligence of all, this species has been around for 65 MILLION years. That is INTELLIGENCE.Are we simply just another species nature is experimenting with?

when i was little, i made some cookies for jesus n god on christmas eve, thinking that making they'll use his special powers to take the cookies to heaven n eat them, cuz they can do anything. (this is when i stopped believing in santa) but then the next morning i woke up n the cookies were still there!!! i was like, "at a jerk, he doesnt want my cookies?!"
why would they do that? they friggin hurt my feelings! i was 8 years old for christ's sake!!!

Why are they all so scared of going to hell? I have seen so many people claiming to be atheists but they go and get all upset when a Christian ssays they are going to Hell. That is our belief as Christians, So if you don't believe in Heaven or Hell why are you so upset when we say that? Oh and when was the last time you told some one to go to hell?????

I mean, come on, they say that Christ died to forgive ppls sins, and yet if u sin ur going straight to hell. It makes no sense. "God" also supposedly says to love thy neighbor, but it's okay if u hate homosexuals b/c their going straight to hell. It's sooo stupid!
