Both are correct but use on a different situation

The first one is let's say a child went to the neighbors house and the neighbor ask the child "why did you come here by yourself?"
The next one is like "Why did you come here yourself when you could just ask your brother to come to get this stuff you ask for?"

both are correct, - they both have valid meanings.

One: Why did you come here by yourself? (and not with others)
Two: Why did you come here yourself? (when you could have just called on the phone?)

Those are 2 different questions. The first one is asking why the person came alone. The second one is asking why didn't the person send someone in their place instead or coming themsleves. Therefore, they are both correct.
