"He that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone." John 8:7

Is is so nice, so wonderful, so refreashing to see so many people without sin standing in judgement around here.

Think about it and let me know who here has earned the right?

They say that God never had a beginning nor an end. But we all must start out somewhere. We all must begin at some point and all must end at some point. So how could there never be a beginning or are we meant not to understand or question .

In today's world the youth have more opportunities, capabilities, good education, physical and cultural standards, backed by computers-technology,coupled with an avalanche of diversified knowledge ,independence, fearlessness, decline in conservatism, yet they lack compassion towards fellow human-beings, are arrogant and selfish. They seem to have skin-deep feeling for their fellow-beings unlike those of yesteryears.Todays youth are egoistic, have only lip sympathy as against genuine sympathy of the youth of yesteryears.Money, power, status, superiority have assumed high proportions in today's youth. They commit a lot of evil acts to acquire any of the above. They are more intelligent and smarter than those of yesteryears

There are always exceptions to the rule as whatever is mentioned applies to most of the youth of today in general and not to all concerned. With this plethora of intelligence, smartness, physical strength etc why cant they be
more tolerant, more giving,compassionate.

Didache 7:1
But concerning baptism, thus shall ye baptize. Having first recited all these things, baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in living (running) water.

Didache 7:2
But if thou hast not living water, then baptize in other water; and if thou art not able in cold, then in warm.

Didache 7:3
But if thou hast neither, then pour water on the head thrice in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

From this writing, we know that the Christians in the time frame of 60 - 100 A.D. taught that baptism could be done by pouring water on the head. These Christians probably learned directly from the Apostles or from the students of the Apostles.

So why do so many Chrisitans (Christians who are living almost 2000 years after Christ) insist that immersion is the ONLY way to baptize????

How would one tactfully correct the spelling and grammar of a Yahoo Groups list moderator? This is a serious issue because the person in question is taking responsibility for helping others with her groups but to some might be viewed as less intelligent because she makes a lot of mistakes. I am not terrific with spelling or grammar myself....and I don't want to make her feel put down or belittled.

I mean, they say that God loves everybody, but I'm thinking, maybe once in awhile He/She creates a person and says, "I don't love you. I'm just going to f**k with you. You are in for a life of misery."

I'm not claiming to be such a person; actually I am quite happy with my blessings. Just wondering because if God wants to do that, He/She is perfectly entitled. And don't tell me God wouldn't do that; you don't know God's motivations, and it is not your place to judge God's actions as right or wrong.

Buddhism is one of the most peaceful religions, but during a visit to sri Lanka i got to know the violant nature of the buddhists monks and the people who follow this religion in sri lanka. Buddhists are burning down churches and persecuting christians and other minority groups in that country.
how come the followers of such a peaceful religion can be so violant?
