Yes.
Many people do.
And many people will.

As far as Jehovah, God of the Israelites and Father of the Christian trinity, can mankind live without him? Both groups would argue that living without him is a second-rate life. It's less than living and more like surviving in a soulless shell of a body. But why listen to them? Read the words of Solomon in Ecclesiastes and Jesus in The Gospel of Luke and decide for yourself! It's either true or it isn't!
It's urgent that you and everyone else seek the truth--but not just in a superficial or trendy sense. I believe there is an answer to be had, but there is a lot of bad advice out there.

Can humanity live without life? God=Life and Life=God

God is the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source which is the process of life itself.

What we can live without is the notion of God as a being, or an old guy with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space somewhere.

We are each an individuation of God, made of the same matter. Together we are the sum (son) total of God.

A definate NO.

Basically for those who admit they do not have a particular religion, well look again. They've devoted their lives to something they can focus on totally whether it's career or a cause (football for some!).

It is in the human being's primal instinct to search for God and they will feel a part of them missing somewhere, like something's incomplete if that void is not filled. How did you think animism was born? Human beings acknowledge a higher power exists than them.

As much as any non-believer would like to deny this by posting a big YES on Yahoo!ANSWERS, you can't lie to yourself. Peace.

Good question. I think without a spiritual nature life would be a bit less beautiful. A great scientist was asked by a reporter once, "Do you believe in God?" and the scientist replied, "I could answer your question, but you wouldn't understand." The reporter goes, "try me." And the scientist answered "Yes." The point he was trying to make was that he believed in God as long as the reporter didn't try to define to him what "God" is. Hope that helps.

It really depends on your definition of "live". And, for that matter, how you define "without God" has a major factor in how one can answer your question. And when you say "mankind", do you mean only when we are bodily alive on earth or are you including life after death? In my attempt to answer your question on my assumptions of what you might mean, I say human beings can live only as long as God allows them to, regardless of the quality of life they want or pursue. The only time "mankind" attempts to be without God is when "mankind" is dead, in whichever form you mean it, physical or spiritual. There is no life after God, and there never was life before God, especially since there never was a time "before God" or "after God", so I guess that's my best answer to your question. God Bless you.

How can we justify laws without an ethical meaning behind them. God has given us an ethical way to live and most of the laws today are directly related to God's laws. Therefore, without God, the law would still be survival of the fittest, and most of us today would be DEAD. We would still be animals, and this discussion would be useless. NO, mankind can not live without GOD!

Sure! Despite strong beliefs to the contrary, many believe that man created God out of ignorance and that ignorance continues to this day. Ergo, man can easily live without God.

It depends.

I think mankind can live without God, but its an existance thats missing alot of hope and happiness. Its a lost and hurt existance.

But with God, your strengthened. You have hope, hope for tommorow and for eternity.

Thats my personal experience- I would never want to live without God.

No it will not be a happy and satisfied life without GOD,because for many things you have to look up to the GOD,and many things you have to leave up to the GOD.
