God is omnipotent and forever truthful. The Bible does not lie...it is just interperated differently by each person and some people may have too much of a critical perspective of the Bible to see the message that it brings.

Like said b4 by my fellow Christians, I dont think you are asking a question and that you actually have an agenda by stating your opinions. And also, like said before, the Bible was written by more than just one or two scibes and us as human beings, there are no two people who are alike; therefore, there are no two people who think alike even though they share the same belief. For these scribes, they were expressing their beliefs in their own fashion to reach different crowds. And to prove my point, the scribe that wrote in the old testament on Abraham obviously wrote that Abraham was a very old man when his sons were conceived. We know from history that no man has ever lived that long, but this scribe just wanted to give the idea that Abraham and his wife were out of their range of producing children to whatever generation.

So maybe when you decide to read the Bible, you should read it with more of an open-mind rather than looking for ways to attack it.

Listen to Brad and Adamray. theyre right. i don't think the Bible is full of lies. on the contrary, the prophesies the prophets in the Bible have made did come true.
and science is not the truth. no scientists have ever been able to answer the unanswered questions that the Bible has. Scientists believe in Evolution, and the Big Bang. do you really think it was by CHANCE that our very very very complex human body, and animals, and hurricanes, and trees, and pollution, and bugs, and sun, and the black hole, and the moon, and the universe, and the entire world was made by just chance????
i don't think so!

The Scriptures tell us that the "natural man" cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God. Most Americans would find it difficult to understand the Chinese language. However, a child who is born into a Chinese family can understand every word. That’s why you must be born again with God’s Spirit living within you (John 3:3). The moment you become part of God’s family, the Bible will begin to make sense.

Prove it.

I believe with all my heart, mind, and strength that Jesus is Lord and that He did die for me.
The Bible is not fairy tales:

The following is taken from The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell:
"1B.Cornelius Tacitus
According to Habermas, "Cornelius Tacitus (c. A.D. 55-120) was a Romans historian who lived through the reigns of over a half dozen Roman evperors. He has been called the 'greatest historian' of ancient Rome, an individual generally acknowledged amoung scholars for his moral 'integrity and essential goodness.'" (Habermas, VHCELJ, 87) Tacitus's most acclaimed works are the Annals and the Histories. "The Annals cover the period from Augustus's death in A.D. 14 to that of Nero in A.D. 68, while the Histories of Domitian in A.D. 96." (Habermas, VHCELJ, 87)
Writing of the reign of Nerom, Tacitus alludes to the death of Christ and to the existence of Christians at Rome. His misspelling of Christ-"Christus"- was a common error made by pagan writers. Says Tacitus:
But not all the relief that could come from man, not all the bounties that the prince could bestow, nor all the atonements which could be presented to the gods, availed to relieve Nero from the infamy of being believed to have ordered the conflagration, the fire of Rome. Hence to suppress the rumor, he falsely charged with the guilt, and punished with the most exquisite tortures, the persons commonly called Christians, who were hated from their enormities. Christus, the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius: but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time, broke out again, not only through Judea, where the mischief originated, but through the city of Rome also. (Annals XV, 44)"

"No serious scholar has ventured to postulate the non-historicity of Jesus." -Otto Betz

Actually, the Bible is perfect. No one has ever been able to prove that ANYTHING is incorrect. The amazing thing is that it was written by so many people, yet fit together so perfectly. How was this done? By God telling the men what to write. Only God could create such a book. God Bless!

the bible...is Gods inherit word it was a finished work before it even was written..IN the mind of God ...God saw the work and word finished before the foundations of the world..God promised this in the book of Jeremiah..33:20,21 says Thus saith the Lord;If ye can break my covenant of day and my covenant of the night, that there should not be day and night in their season 21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant

This is just one verse 1`that says it is not possible for a man to change the word of God therefore ..you need to check your understanding ..of Gods word I can show you several examples ..but interpretation is from God by his spirit ..the thing is.... it is spiritually discerned not natural..and if you think for one moment that there is any contradiction then that tells me you tried by your own comprehension to understand ..what is only understood by the spiritual man...and the first thing that has to be done is ...give your heart to God..then your spiritual eyes are opened...
God bless and I pray that you come to Jesus the bible way ..before it is to late....

in the future maybe if you showed what you thought was a contradiction..someone could show you where the bible ..Gods word ..essentially ..God is true ..and every man a liar..Romans 3:3-4

the bible is not an entity...or a book by one or two confused authors

it was written by 40 different authors from all different backgrounds over a period of 1500 years

i doubt they intentionally wrote it for the reasons you believe

-there is a bible for dummies

I did not know that.
Are you saying there is no truth in the Bible?
I'm not very religious but I doubt what you say very much.
