We live in a society that (supposedly) is really big on the tolerance thing. Why doesn't that hold true regarding Christianity? If you pick on Blacks - excuse me, I mean African Americans - you're called a racist. If you pick on Muslims, you're called a fanatic Republican, since Islam is obviously such a peaceful religion. But Christians are made fun of and degraded in every manner imaginable, and everyone just laughs - and not just on a small one-to-one scale, but on the national scale: politicians, scientists, the media, you name it. Why?!?!?!?!?

Muslims: We already know that people will reply to this question with hatred and ugliness and childishness, so let's you and I grin and bear it. Ignore them, they're not worth a reply.

Let me first say that I have deep respect and love for Islam and Muhammad (pbuh). What I don't understand is how it's permissable in Islam for a girl 9 yrs young to marry, and how Muhammad and Aisha consummated their marriage when she was only a child of 9 yrs. Can a Muslim please explain how this is permitted? Please know that I am not attacking, I am deeply curious.

Mercaneries would be military trained forces that do not have any moral restrictions or patriotic obligations. Forces that are funded by private organizations and do not report, or are supported by any country.
The bleeding hearts out there will probably say that Mercaneries is a type of terrorism, but is that so bad? having US forces standing around until they get shot doesn't seem to be an effective means to stop terrorists and insurgancy. Why not fight fire with fire? the world needs to be less sympathetic if we are to advance as a society.

I simply do NOT understand this mostly-urban, completely-male, fashion choice! It isn't practical and it doesn't look comfortable. So, what's it all about? I really want to know, so that I can quit being flabbergasted, insulted, annoyed, or puzzled by it. I'm too young to be a fuddy-duddy!

When i've talke d to foreigner beginners of english they are so nice and i can have good conversations especially if it's a language i know. like Japanese beginners seem so interested and nice. Koreans too.. but if they are Advanced, they always do almost perfect American accent and they seem like they try too much to copy American ways and mannerisms. And they seem to hate me, think of me as NOT AMERICAN because i'm not white/black and i have accent even thouogh i wa born here in usa. Why are they so mean and NOT ACCEPting of true americans( we are not all white, we are not all black, and YES we have accents( so what!!) ) when they become advanced in english? basically they think i'm crap.

I am trying to come down on you? For one thing people spout " don't judge" Isn't that exactly what you are doing when you say that I am judging you or being hateful to you? Maybe I am not trying to hate on you, perhaps I am asking questions solely for informational purposes. Someone said that they reported me. I don't know what the abuse was, I never once said anything demeaning, I merely ask some questions. And did not once get an actual answer.

Is there ever a time a Devot religious person is opened minded enough to change their views? Is it possible for them to be honest enough to stand up and say, "I have had to change my belief because I realized my doctrines and beliefs were flawed" Because If your as smart as God and know all with perfection, I'd like to shake your hand. If your not, where are your honestly admited changes of belief? What have they been verses what are they now? why?
