Example: Blacks get affirmative action which helps them get into jobs, college, civel service positions, etc? Doesn't this, at the same time, punish certain people for being a certain race? Isn't that discrimination? This is very confusing.....

He keeps sending msgs telling me I'm gay, because I sent a few answers sometime ago to the gay section (You can see them, they're short stupid answers). What the hell?? Does he honestly believe that I'm gay because of this? I saw many straight people sending answers there! What?? Is he crazy, or does he love to accuse people of gayness randomly??

(I sent the question here because he sent a question saying that "I'm busted"!!! in the religion section).

Citations from the holy quran:

[2:126] "As for him who disbelieveth, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the doom of Fire"

[4:56] Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment.

8:14 That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.

10:4 ...as for those who disbelieve, theirs will be a boiling drink and painful doom because they disbelieved.

17:10 And that those who believe not in the Hereafter, for them We have prepared a painful doom.

18:29 Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces.

Have you ever notice how some people who don't believe in the Bible, or God/Jesus, they're doing stuff that they know is wrong. They don't believe in the Bible because they know deep down inside what they're doing is wrong so they don't acknowledge a higher faith. I'm here to tell you though regardless of whether you believe in him or not it's not going to take away the fact that you will be judged! They're in self denial about their relation with God in order to do their bad. It's wrong either way you look at it. Your opinions on this.

I've seen it here, the Bible is the weapon of the solider of God. Did anyone ever make a mistake and go too far with their sword of God and kill someone with the Bible?
Sticks and stones and Bibles might break my bones but names like Jesus will never hurt me?

No funny stuff. It probably came from the Middle Ages when bows and arrows were cutting edge military equipment. The bows were often made from the wood of a YEW tree. So to PLUCK YOU meant going to battle. How the PL got changed to an F is not clear, but it's not a big stretch of the imagination to figure out how the meaning changed to what it is today. Any one else has a theory?

NO FUNNY STUFF, PLEASE

My real name is Ciel and I am the daughter of Déesse *the goddess*. I am actually about 3,923 yrs. old but I currently reside in the body of a 15 yr. old human girl as punishment for my past actions. About 300 yrs ago, I fell in love with a mortal. As many people know, it's forbidden for a goddess to love a mortal, but I still went to down to earth, pretended to be human and tried to make him fall for me. Well, fall for me he did and a month later, my brother, Enfer (who my mother later turned into a serpant), killed him. I was devastated and refused to return to the heavens. Instead, I stayed on Earth, continued pretending to be human, ended up getting very pissed off, and began my reign of terror (I had anger issues at the time). I caused a great many plagues, and many different disasters happened because of my doing. I also tried to destroy the world, but my mother brought this curse upon me first. After that, she wiped the humans memories of me. I was to live as a mortal until my lesson is truly learned. In other words: I live as a mortal, then die, and then I am reincarnated as a mortal. The only difference is that I can remember my past life as a goddess. Unfortunately for me, I always cause some sort of trouble in each of my lives. Whether it be my using magick for evil, or just starting something. I fear that I may never be able to return home.

....going to quite make it to heaven because "the others" have a flaw. How is it etched in granit to you that you're not one of the 9 others; seeing how they use the same Bible? Why is God unable to make your belief so clear, if it's correct? Seriously, I have no axe to grind here, I just want to understand your truth. If it is.

In Leviticus, there is a ban placed on homosexuality, calling it an abomination. However, the Bible also places restrictions on what people can eat. Jews and Muslims follow these restrictions by adjusting their diets to remove foods such as pig. Eating restricted foods is the only other sin referred to as an abomination.

Here's the question: How can Christianity accept the ban on homosexuality, yet not encourage its followers to keep kosher? Why is one ban kept and the other ignored?

I'm not trying to offend Christians. I am just confused.

If the birth time of the person was wrongly recorded during delivery, then she will get all the wrong prediction of her life destiny from the astrologer? There's no way we can confirm the accuracy of birth time stated in our birth cert.

What i get from this word "divinity" is that a divine being has to be Eternal and all -powerful and all-knowing. what other criterias you think ?

secondly only God is divine, because Man dont have any divinity in them. Divinity is something which cannot be given , because of what divinity is. Divinity is what a being always had and always will be. One who is divine is always been divine and he cannot stop being divine because of what we mean when we say "divine"/// and a being who has a beginning cannot be divine. because the criteria of being divine is to be eternal.
This excludes the notion of claim of divinity of any created or mortal being .

comments please..

NOTE..: stupid , silly and sacrilegous people are not invited to answer. and if you want to speak anything wrong about God. Don't bother to answer this.
