What i get from this word "divinity" is that a divine being has to be Eternal and all -powerful and all-knowing. what other criterias you think ?

secondly only God is divine, because Man dont have any divinity in them. Divinity is something which cannot be given , because of what divinity is. Divinity is what a being always had and always will be. One who is divine is always been divine and he cannot stop being divine because of what we mean when we say "divine"/// and a being who has a beginning cannot be divine. because the criteria of being divine is to be eternal.
This excludes the notion of claim of divinity of any created or mortal being .

comments please..

NOTE..: stupid , silly and sacrilegous people are not invited to answer. and if you want to speak anything wrong about God. Don't bother to answer this.

I would like to know the answer of specially those people who say that a mortal being is God. i mean, those who believe in a divine being who has a beginning . e.g. Christians, Hindus.. etc.

How can you believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ because Jesus had a beginning and its the criteria of a divine being that he should not have any beginning. thats what we mean when we say "divine". otherwise a being is not divine. ... and ya.. let me remind you one thing that Jesus had a beginning.. no matter how you define the word begotten. Colossians 1 :15 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation" ... it means Jesus had a beiginning. and you said that word was with God in beginning.. ================== and also Jesus is not all-knowing... Mark 13:32
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."

as we can see mark 13:32, Jesus lacks the knowledge of last day... which does not fit in the second criteria that a divine being should have to be ALL-KNOWING.

Thats right.. a normal man cannot bring himself from dead to live. but who says that he brang himself. God can do that very well. God can bring dead people alive anytime. i ask you that how did he die in the first place if he was God. God is divine , and divine means to be eternal. A normal man is not divine because he is not God . so ask yourself that what you believe is true or its just an explanation , because explanations is not the proof of truth.

I like your description of divinity, and would like to add, divinity should not be of any sex, for it would give sex preferences, should not excrement, because this will make him unpure, and divinity implements purity. And there are more to add, not enough time to write.

I agree with that.

That being said, I also believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. Some do not. My Bible says He is the Word that existed before time began. That He created all things. And that He had the power to lay down His life and take it up again. A normal man could not bring himself back to life after he was dead, correct?

Never mind. I checked out your profile. You are not Christian. We are wasting time here.

man is essentially divine at his core. his soul is god, this why we should love the divine in all of god creations. of all his creations man is the one that's able to realize the divinity in all ,if he doesn't hes just an animal.divinity is the common thread that binds creation into a harmonized whole. fact

God is all powerful, all knowing and all seeing. Could God create a stone so big that He could not move it and if he did would he bother to try moving it and would that be because he Knew that he could not move the stone that he had mad even though He can do any thing he wants to
