Do they think dinosaurs served man some purpose or tiny species on the bottome of the ocean do?
What is the purpose of their existence since they are of no consequence to humanity?

roy didn't bother to understand the sentence.
by "their" I mean the creatures, what is their purpose on earth.
If we were all created at the same time for man to have 'dominion' over all creatures, what purpose does tiny life in the far corners of the earth serve? like millions of flies swarming where all other life finds inhabitable or say strains of viruses? There are in fact forms of life who don't serve any real "purpose" on the food chain but to just exist. I'm simply exploring the question of why that is.

Some do. Some don't.

Some think it's man's right to trash the planet as he sees fit. Others think it's man's duty to protect the land and all it's creatures.

The real question is what are you doing to protect the Earth and all it's inhabitants? Don't worry about the numbskulls who think the Earth is a trash bin. They're meatheads and short-sighted.

In the meantime, work to make the world a better place. Don't hold the meatheads in contempt. They'll realize the Earth is valuable once they're done trashing it.

First of all God created Man last. We were given dominion over all the plants and animals and every creature in the air and in the sea. At first we were given only the plants and fruits as food but later we were given meats as food also. The food chain is a lot bigger than you think everything is interconnected and it's vitally important that we not hurt the ecosystem. Why are you singling out Evangelicals? There are many other Christian churches that believe the same way.

No,

Not FOR. It is almost the other way around. WE are here for them.....and we 'got' the right to harvest the rewards from that.

You are very shortsighted to think life on the bottom of the sea has no consequence to humanity... tisk tisk. Don't you know the foodchain? That's just one example. It all is connected.

No. No. Who is "their?" Evangelicals, Life on earth, humans, dinosaurs, tiny species or oceans? If your talking about evangelicals their purpose is whatever you intend it to be. Someone for you to hate I suppose.
