Time is a concept created to aide in human understanding. As is emotion. However, The Bible, Quran, and Talmud, which are the three main sources for monotheistic religions, all mention times when God was described as being angered and saddened.
As I said before, I believe God exists outside of time, but if you wish to limit Him to human terms, I'd say there are 8+ billion people on this planet, chances are there are about 40 prayers being directed towards heaven every minute, If time exists in heaven, God doesnt have any to spare.

Oh, I think a typical day in heaven for God goes something like this.....
6:00 a.m. Rise and shine. Shower but no need to shave. Pick out robe and sandals for the day.
7:00 a.m. Breakfast of Bacon, Eggs side of fruit and coffee. Read all the newspapers of the world.
8:00 a.m. Start work. Check in on Earth and start a few wars and natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanoes or tornadoes.
9:00 a.m. Call St. Peter and see what the latest incoming count is.
10:00 a.m. Orientation training for incoming souls. Make sure they know all the rules.
11:00 a.m. Check in on Earth again. See how the natural disasters are going. Send a message to all national leader that you are really on their side.
Noon - Lunch. Sub sandwiches and salad. Bud Lite to drink.
1:00 Gather and read intelligence reports on Satan and his crew. Need to know what the competition is doing
2:00 Meeting with the angels. Assign them to intervene with select earth beings including saving a few from the natural disasters.
3:00 Make calls to all religious leaders in the world and remind them them that tithings have been down and we need to collect more.
4:00 Check in again with St. Peter for a current soul count. If he needs a few more, then plan to increase natural disasters and war casualties for tomorrow.
5:00 Leave office to go home. Watch evening news across the world. Have a Bud Lite.
6:00 Dinner. Prime rib and corn on the cob. Followed by chocolate cream pie for dessert.
7:00 TV time. Watch CSI.
8:00 Wash dishes and clean heavenly house.
9:00 Have a night cap Gin and Tonic. Read a Stephen King novel.
10:00 Check prayer requests. Select a few to respond to tomorrow. Snuggle up to Mrs. God in bed. Hope to get lucky.

There are many things we do not know. So let God be God and we be the subject of His FAITHFUL followers. By doing so, you will know the answer when you meet Him in Heaven.

According to the Bible there is no time. I think that God lives with us moment to moment, not minute to minute.
Sure I think God gets sad, I think His heart is literally broken for all those who are lost.
But I also KNOW that He is so pleased with those who truly follow Him, and I think it makes Him SO proud!
He is a loving and concerned Father! The perfect Father. I think He is with us always crying and laughing with us. We are here for his enjoyment.
Have you ever just sat and watched your children play? I think it is so entertaining! I think that is what God does, it pleases Him to be with, and see His beloved children live the life that He has given to them!
Great question!
God Loves YOU

Time does not exist at the higher planes.
Time is an artificial construct of Man in an attempt to understand his surroundings.

he probably hasn't completed his first day since the begining of time. It might be about lunchtime now, and he,s snacking on stars.
