It is pouring down rain and the streets are bacly flooded where I live. The buses are not running so I will have to walk to work this afternoon. It is only a few blocks and I have an umbrella but I will get splashed many times as I have to walk on the side of a busy flooded street. I cannot afford to stay home and besides there is no one to cover my shift. It is just water and I will survive and dry off eventually as I have to walk home in it too. The store I work at is very picky about what we look like and I will be going in soak and wet with wet shoes and stockings. I dread the stares I will get and want to know how to handle their smart remarks and if my supervisor who is always looking to criticise everything I do says something. What can I say that will get the point across to them that they are being rude and insensitive without getting myself fired or written up. I know I won't look to good to the customers but hey they don't have to walk in the flood.

a christo-pagan to me is a oxymoron for two main reasons one being that christianity once killed pagans and two pagans worship nature and many gods. christians dont worship nature or many gods so i really want to figure this one out since i am fed up with the idea and stupidity of such a religion

My husband and I were out on our pontoon one night when he noticed our stern light had gone out behind where I'd been sitting on the back of the boat. I moved to the driver's seat while he tried to fix the light. A DNR Officer came up along side us. I'd been drinking. He assumed I'd been driving. Tried to fight it in court but jury believed "Officer of the Law". Now convicted of BUI and sentenced to wear a S.C.R.A.M. ankle bracelet that detects alcohol in my system.

I have no problem not drinking, but it's sooooooooo embarassing to have to wear this "Scarlet Letter" bacelet when I've never committed any crime in my life! Most people have never heard of S.C.R.A.M. and will assume I'm under House Arrest!

I know I shouldn't care what others thinks but it's summertime and I'd rather not spend it in pants. Any ideas for a lady to disguise this bulky thing while wearing a dress, shorts or a bikini?!?

follow christianity when they where killed and treated like crap for years? i am a native american as well but i would never be a christian since i still follow the traditions of the people of my tribes. blacks where enslaved by christians and the native americans where killed by the christians when they came here.. do you think its wrong for this religion to enforce itself on to others that dont believe in there book?

I believe you must question your beliefs to grow stronger in them, so with that said. We know how the Bible starts in Genesis and how God created Earth and Adam and Eve. If we take the dinosaur and caveman eras and overlap them with the bible, they are missing. Genesis is the beginning of everything (Earth, animals, and man) but no caveman!? No dinosaur!? Confused?
