Hello,

I'll help you in anyway i can. there are free resources out there, which is the internet

www.byki.com, this is a free software for arabic that you can try out for free, which gives you a starting point in Arabic.

Pimsleur recorded books and rosetta stone are also good stuff as well, it is like recorded conversations that help you very well, you just listen to it on your cd player or an mp3 player or an ipod.

If you want to buy a book i'll recommend these,

1.Colloquial Arabic
2.Teach yourself Arabic
3.Arabic for dummies
4.Mastering Arabic
5.Mastering Arabic Grammar
6.Arabic in 10 Minutes a day

For Persian
1.Teach yourself modern Persian
2.Persian made nice and easy
3.Colloquial Persian

That's all i can think of right now

Good luck, and also remember to check with your local library for the books because that will save you buying them

i really mean it good luck and God bless
