To the contrary, if God existed, wouldn't he stop that poor statue from bleeding before Our Holy Mother got anemia?

This is a known hoax, and has been debunked by scientists... the person creating the hoax merely puts a substance over the eyes of the statue late at night when no one is watching. ANY moisture - mist, heavy fog, rain, sprinkles, etc... causes the substance to turn a reddish color, and will subsequently appear like blood trickling down the statue.
Scientists themselves were able to easily create such a substance that is invisible to the naked eye when dry, yet when coming into contact with any moisture, turns red. It then runs, as any regular liquid would do - it's called gravity.
Stop believing in the fairy tales of religion, which are backed up by ZERO proof. Science is BASED on proof and fact...religion is blind faith. We all evolved, just as the universe did - deal with it.

I admire your zeal, however, the statue of Mary is a form of idol worship and the bleeding Mary is true, just like wiccans and other witches and wizards believe in their magic and people who communicate with dead really see them and speak with them. the devil can do alot of tricks and sometimes you must not believe what you see or hear. The only truth is from the Bible and all truth is in it. Mary cannot forgive sins only Jesus and no priest can either and the immortality of the soul is not real, everyone who dies is resting until Jesus returns. Only a few are in heaven now, those who were risen with Christ as the first fruits of his labour and Moses, Elijah and Enoch. Please search the Bible and see for yourself the truth.

If Martin Luther were alive today he would tell you to follow the first commandment. "I am the Lord thy God. You shalt not have false Gods before me" I think a statue is an icon so therefore the rule of the first commandment has been broken by you.
