I always thought I was pretty straight (flinched at hugs, objected to the kissy-kissy cheek thing) but all of a sudden I have what you can only describe as "crush" on this woman. What the hell? She likes me too but I don't know what to do. I thought I wasn't gay. I don't think I'm gay anyway, I think I just like this one person. What do I do?

Happiness is not an end in itself, rather it seems to me it is the result of it being satisfied with what you have. On the other hand, pleasure in our achivements, relationships and ideals seem to be on a higher level since sometimes we have to endure pain to achive them.

That is another criterion to get to paradise as Hadith books claim. You can see the discrepancies between the greatness of God and the inferiority of man when you compare this statement that is claimed to be what the prophet Muhammed said and the words of God in 30:21
"Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts LOVE and CARE towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who THINK."

Open your eyes and see that Hadith is contradicting Islam. Who is with me?

Hi. Thinking of becoming a Hindu, but was raised a Xtian.. I grew up hearing that if you change another religion, you'll go to hell. a part of me doesnt beliebe this. I will be a hindu that still believes in Jesus. (and you can go that) But how do you get over feeling guilty, because the support isnt around you? I'm reading a book about a guy who moves from America to Ireland to work on a book he's busy writing about Ireland and Irish Folklore and Mythology... My question is, if there is such a thing as a Banshee does it only exist in Ireland. What are the chances that it would exist in other parts of the world? And why are certain myths confined to certain countries only? Whats stopping the myth from travelling...?
