After serving 25 mths of a 30 mths sentence for his role planning the 2002 Balinese bombings which killed 202 people, including 88 Australians, he is now free to resume teaching at the Islamic boarding school he founded. Hundreds of his supporters shouted 'Alluh Akbar' (God is great) upon his release from gaol yesterday. Can anyone tell me how great Islam is now ?? Where is the justice for the families of the people who lost loved ones to this senseless and meaningless act. If anyone can justify this I would be very interested....

Name one thing that is going on now that hasn't happened before that makes you think the end is coming. Because so far I have yet to hear any proof that doesn't referrence events that have had something similar in the past.

If you received an email from eBay saying

'Thank you for writing eBay.'

What would you think ? That its a spoof/spam email or written by someone learning English as a non -native speaker ?

Does this sound correct gramatically ? Should it be 'Thank you for writing to eBay ?'

or is Thank you for writing eBay. fine?

I met this guy when he came to stay with us.I'm an Ind woman,24.He is working with my brother in Denmark & he is Danish,34.we have been good friends.My bro says he's a little sad coz he does not have a girlfriend.I write to him always,but he never replies.Being a scientist,or being lazy,I do not know.I feel that I should make him my good friend.This quest of mine has become so famous,my friends make fun of me.Should i quit?

In crusades worldwide there is a special time reserved for miracles where the sick are cured. HIV/AIDS , blindness , cancer and other ailments vanish on stage. Is that true and possible?
It is said that a person must have belief before being cured. Many staunch Christians and pastors have died of diseases. What would'nt the sick in hospital give to be cured? People will flock to Christianity in droves if this was true. But none of this has happened.
Why not?
Are this miracles of God or tricks to obtain funds?

It seems not long ago, common courtesies and respect was important, but over the past couple decades, they have been tossed in the trash and rudeness seems popular (especially with young folks).

I have questions for people that have other faiths than my own, and when I ask them a question they get upset with me, or aggravated that I would even ask such a question. I thought it was ok to ask questions, and I assumed that even if you don't have the answer you would not bite my head off for making you think about your own beliefs.

In many buildings I find a lift with the sign "fire lift" over it and in the same lobby, you could have a sign saying "In case of fire, do not use lifts".

So are you supposed to use the lift in case of a fire or not? Or is the lift meant for the firemen to use? But aren't they supposed to not use the lift in case of fire?
