For all the people that say the world is going to end soon?

Name one thing that is going on now that hasn't happened before that makes you think the end is coming. Because so far I have yet to hear any proof that doesn't referrence events that have had something similar in the past.

I have yet to have an event that hasn't occurred before being referenced. Even the Jews coming to Jerusalem after losing happen before...read your bible.

and for Crash_dummy I have heard that one before but it still fails diasters tend to come in bunchs if you look at history.

Actually, I don't know that I believe that the world is going to end soon. I have yet to make up my mind about how to interpret John's Revelation. However, there was something that a premillennialist friend showed me that I thought was interesting. I don't remember the verse, but it mentions that someone will be killed and the whole world will see his body. That wasn't possible until very recently (and may yet not be possible, but we are getting there) with CNN, etc. I thought it was an interesting thought.

While I agree with you that there is nothing that has happened recently that hasn't happened before, natural disasters are taking more lives than ever before, due to our urban lifestyle. A major earthquake in New York City will probably kill more people than has ever died in one day in our planets history. Also something to think about.

There is so much wher do i start and i want to keep ur attention.
And i want to go to bed but im stayin up 4 this one. Thers so many scriptures in the old test, about God restoring Israel, now youll have to post another question if ur interested im sure someone will be glad to help out. Now this country has been having wars since day one they say thers city upon city that have been distroyed. God says that in the final days i will restore my land my people and so forth. Now whether we like it or not the jews are his first and foremost people. today anyone can enter gods family thru christ john ch1 vs 12. Anyway in the past 5 to 10 years 5 million jews have returned to ther, israel. the land has once again become fruitful, the trees are plenty and green they have becom #3 in the world in oranges, harvesting n selling. The live stock is growing in vast vast #s, I mean if you see footage of Isreal outside all the bombings because that stuff always takes precedence on the news, Youll be amazed. Now this was unheard of just ten years ago, believe me. So this is called the prphecy of the bible, When things like this were stated to men along long time ago. Thats my first answer....

My number two choice, u know that sunami that hit indonesia, im not gonna say that this was predicted in the bible but hear this .. you know what gospels are they are stories written by the guys that supposedly walked with Jesus n did. thers one guy named luke n he writes about this day when Jessus starts telling them about the signs to look for at the end, now they probably thoght it was gonna be in ther life time, but one of the guys aked when will all this stuff happen. So Jesus says this " And ther will be strange events in the skies-signs in the sun moon And down here on earth nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The corage of many will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, the stability of the very heavens will be broken up, Then everyone will see the son of God on the clouds with great power n glory , so when these things begin to happen your salvation is near). so i think this was the worst or one of the worst sunamis to hit the earth,,,,From your question it sounds like from what i understand is that you dont want to hear about the earthquakes and stuff so i did not mention that but history books tell us ther happaning more n more, so these are the signs. But i1 other thing is that preachers n ther people or telling people all over the world about jesus. Ive heard thers been upto 10-20 million people at these events in Africa n India, imagine indians accepting Jesus, it blows my mind . Anyway in another passage from the bible it says the message of salvation will be preached unto the ends of the earth and then the end will come.

Well, if you look at the metaphor of a woman in labor; the closer she gets to delivering, the more intense AND the closer together her contractions become.
It's the same with the end of time. While we have always had natural disasters, they seem to be happening on a greater scale & in places typically not known to have them in the past. It's as if the earth itself is groaning.
This is one of the signs of the end of time.
