I met this guy when he came to stay with us.I'm an Ind woman,24.He is working with my brother in Denmark & he is Danish,34.we have been good friends.My bro says he's a little sad coz he does not have a girlfriend.I write to him always,but he never replies.Being a scientist,or being lazy,I do not know.I feel that I should make him my good friend.This quest of mine has become so famous,my friends make fun of me.Should i quit?

If this man is not courteous enough to reply to your letters, then it seems to make no sense to continue. Are you certain that he is receiving these letters from you? Have you mentioned to your brother what you have been doing? Maybe your brother has more insights into this gentleman than you do.
It is very very sweet of you to reach out to this man, but perhaps he is simply not interested in you in any shape or form and that is why he does not reply.
I don't understand why your friends make fun of you for reaching out to someone - they certainly don't sound like friends to me!

Just the fact that you write him always and he HAS NOT replied gives you your answer. Either he feels your too young for him, or he just isn't interested. BUT it kind of sounds like you got the hots for him. So I'd write him one last letter and tell him up front. If you do not respond back to me to this letter then I will no longer write to you. I don't see any reason for U to not quit . tell your brother not to get you into all this and U better get out of this cause U might have a problem being so famous regarding this fling JUST GET OUT OF THIS . if otherwise U might have a fantasy for him then the scene is diff rent

I think the guy does not want to lose your brother's friend because of you. Better go through your brother to tell his friend that you are interested in him if he still not communicate then forget about him.

You should wait until he comes back to your area to see if it would be possible to spend some time together. Remember - he may be busy with his work and limited on time to respond to your letters or emails. He may be interested in you , so it may be worth waiting.

Clearly, if he does not reply you, it means that he is not interested in you therefore I suggest you forget about him and just continue the friendship with him. The truth may be cruel but love cannot be forced onto.
