if there is a god or gods, depending on your religion, why are there 2000 different religions all trying to blow each other up. and then there are religous sects within a religion, that fight each other too. i mean hell the koran of islam tells its followers to destroy jews. if religions are supposed to bring peace, why are most all conficts based on religion or religous based culture?

Take a man who has done bad all his life, who's biggest wish was to hurt others and make them suffer the worst things.
Take a man who has loved and helped others all his life, who's biggest wish was to see others happy and was always ready to give before reciving. What difference would this two persons have if they both end up dead in a hole under the earth? What was the point in being good or bad if you end up in the same place? Don't you think life is worthless if there isn't an afterlife?
Please explain and tell your opinion.

I just dont get it, sme drivers use to turn on their very bright halogen light in a well lighted street.Dont they suppose to use dim light instead?those lights are really painful to the eye and they dont care about others with poor eyesight.

This is a thinker:
Catholic priests are not allowed to marry.
Catholic nuns, when they are ordained, wear a ring as a symbol of their union or "marriage" to God.
There are millions of nuns in the world, "married" to this "man"
Therefore, why are priests, who technically "do God's work on earth" not allowed to marry, when God himself is basically a polygamous, mormonistic sod?

Is'nt it ironic that in the United States, the only civilized country in the world where prostitution is illegal, America has the highest STD rate, the highest divorce rate, and the highest percentage of illigitimate children and single moms. How could legalized prostitution possibly make things worse than they already are? Also tell me one country in Europe, South America, or Asia (besides Muslim countries) where it is illegal.

From what the bible says there will be a total distruction of the world, the universe and mankind will be no more, But I wonder with the technological advancements and man's further quest to reinforce,strenghten and make better his environment, is that notion of total distruction ever going to materize? Secondly It is too tasking to think of how and if the the world has a starting point.Like lets say at 2.00pm the world came to be from oblivion, and a boundary like lets say after all the planets nothing exists beyond.
