I think love is blind but people's mind, arrogance, ignorance, prejudices, ego, resentment etc. hinder their ability to allow them to embrace the feelings that would come naturally. I truly believe that many racist groups/members find black women attractive and would have loved to get with them but decided their hate was greater so raping them was better....

The kind chap at the top who said the UK is not racist should try living there as a minority because racism agsinst inter-racial relationships exist there as well. i know because i have family living there for years.

I think its ok to have preferences and preferrably its not attributed to a whole entire race. I like tall guys because i am tall and I prefer latin or black but I would never say no if a white guy that looks like matthew mcconaghey or brad pitt wanted to date me. I recently found about a singer called birain from a uestion on yahoo and he is hot. If the guy catches my eye, thats a start, the rest comes from getting to know him. You never know. Just open your heart to love, lust whatever.

Having said that, certain cultural factors can and will influence who someone dates.

I'm Canadian so everybody here is essentially from somewhere else. The world is slowly becoming homogenized and this is good.We all essentially come from the same area,it is just the distance of time between us.If we were blind race would not be an issue.Yet figuratively we are blinded by prejudice. I am married to a North African Arab Muslim, but to me he's Honey and to his children he is Daddy, and one day in a perfect world he will just be.

According to Anthropologists, there is no such thing as race. We are all a part of the human race. So, as long as a couple loves each other, then they shouldn't worry about what others think about their relationship. Love is more important than skin color :)

I appreciate all the different races present and I think if one race was missing that would be sad. even those racists would miss that race. We take things for granted but we should see the value in human colour and features variety.

Marry someone you love no matter there color!!!!

It has good sides andit has bad sides but generally speaking it should NOT matter what age you are or what colour you are and if we had a few more interracial relationships maybe we'd have less racism.

I don't see them as interracial, my opinion is if they're good for each other and in love, I support it, if they aren't, I don't. Colour and background are minor things that we shouldn't even be questioning anymore.
