These are two separate questions, and I hope you don't mind if I answer the second one. Why does anybody choose Christianity over another faith, especially when it is clear that they will be persecuted for following Christ...? I can think of only one reason. And, no, it isn't masochism, either-- that just isn't that common. When someone is inwardly convicted that Christianity is true, they will have the courage necessary to bear up under the persecutions, whether they are mere sneers and contempt or deadly torments. Consider all the Christians who gladly face sneers and contempt on this and similar sites, for being willing to share their faith. You may regard them as self-deluded if you will but you must take the Arab Christians a little more seriously

Christians live as regular citizens in Muslim countries, more over Muslims like to deal with them to support them so they are wealthy and powerful. They choose Christianity because they were born Christians but many convert to Islam as the Imam who is leading us in the mosque, he was a Christian but now very knowledgeable Muslim Imam.

No, but if we are insulted because of the name of Christ, we are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on us.
My father and brothers are Christians, my mother and sisters are Moslems. It;s not about choosing the religion but the most important thing is faith that we believe we pray to the only one same GOD, la ilaha ilallah. We have good family and respect to eachother.

as a Muslim i would just like to say:
i don't have a problem with people who are a different religion to me, i don't have a problem with gay people. i do not have a problem with most people (i don't like most chavs but that's different, they start on me first. and Gorge Bush i don't like him either)
war is stupid, a waste of time and life
Attacking other peoples beliefs and religions is stupid
everyone just needs to sit down, have a cup of chai and i chat. ok so yeh maybe not chai but u know what i mean!
