Sorry sista, but spell check is super important when trying to make that kind of point. Lead by example. Besides, no matter what you do, we will always be listless, "iggnorent", unattractive, dancin' fools to those that don't know any better. You just gotta live your life according to you. You don't even have to say anything to him. If the statement didn't completely offend you, then laugh it off and move on. Show him with your response that you're not a stereotype.
And for those that have confused black history and black culture, get a clue. They are very different topics.

You won't want to hear this, but I ask you to give me the tolerance you and I both deserve:
"Black Culture" not Black History, mind you, but Black Culture as expressed by yourself . . . is way too often just a very inferior version of white American culture. If you doubt me, look at your question as submitted.
The number of misspellings, grammar errors, and the confused inability to get to the point is absolutely shocking. From the point of view of presumably 90% of the educated people in this country including much more recent Asian and Hispanic immigrants that take pride in themselves, your question would indicate a very low class person. This is why, great men like Martin Luther King insisted that the black populace needed to take education seriously.
Now in the minds of your great enemies, the racists, the type of rambling, incoherent question you submitted would be taken as solid evidence of the unsuitability of ALL Blacks to have the rights of American citizenship. Why give your enemies any ammunition to use against you. You may well NOT believe this, but I am your friend, good luck.

First off, what exactly is "black culture". I know (somewhat) what African culture is but, not too sure about "black culture". Maybe he doesn't believe that there are ignorant people in all races and cultures, not everyone is alike. That's what makes the world a functioning place. Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone was the same? As for "black culture", I may not like the rap music culture but may enjoy many other aspects of a "black culture". Don't know what to tell you but if he thinks eveyone is ignorant, he is a biggot...

Tell him to stop being so ignorant, and stereotyping the African Community. Because it's totally messed up, and what were to happen if he said something really bad to someone and they didn't know him. They would then interpret it as a racist comment and your "friend" would get in a lot of trouble. But personally, i wouldn't consider someone who insults any race at all my friend, since he is like committing a crime against humanity by just being ignorant and naive.

What does not liking black culture got to do with being racist? Isn't that a little like saying; I don't like your food because your floor has a whole in it?

I personally think you can hate the black culture without hating black people. Just like you can hate Wheel of Fortune and Bingo and Johnny Cash...but still love old people.

i myself have been in that same situation many times as well. you cant make someone see something, they must see it for themselves. All you can do is continue to be yourself and through your actions he will be able to see, and if he doesnt o well he will shoot his mouth off in a stupid situation and hopefully gets his face kicked in thats about it. P.S dont try arguing for the black race there is no point.

the only thing that you can do to, when you have to deal with such insolent, insensitive, idiotic, narrow-minded, racists(doesnt admit it tho....eh?), ignorant, intolerant, ill-mannered individuals is..........JUST FORGET THEM!....that ways you can stay away from all prejudices that these dregs of society breed and spread. hate is something we could all do without.
What Say?
V peace out V
