obsolved them of the OT laws?????In the VERY SAME book that most Christians use to atttack and question gay people are a list of laws that are RIGHT NEXT to that of the one they often refer to and yet they still insist on using that as their primary defense of hate, bigotry, and judgement.WHY??????????

Also, I know people try and find New Testament passages and when then seem to find them I have my KJV sitting right next to me and have always confirmed that such passages were re-worded by the person posting the response or by someone who published a Bible with false translations.

So, why this double standard?Either you are a great sinner because you have not followed the numeruos laws in Leviticus, amoung many books, or ALL and I mean ALL the laws of the OT are no longer valid to Christians.....Make up your mind.Well????

My daughter is now 24, the youngest of 3. With the other two I was much tougher and made them stand on their own two feet by the age of 21. Now they are independent and not reliant on me for rescuing them in times of need, except for advice. The 24 yr old who has her own apartment STILL does not seem to be able to make it without financial help from me every month! She is now working full time; granted not making great money but still. I know I am part of the problem, but I don't want her to end up being evicted or homeless or go hungry, although my older daughter says maybe that is what needs to happen before she wakes up and learns how to manage her money. I DO NOT want her moving in with me either because that is HELL since she and my partner do NOT get along, and that is why I feel stuck when it comes to helping her with her rent. I am ready to move to another country so she'll have to stand up on her own. Older parents out there - how did you deal with a kid like this

GOTCHA! Ohay, maybe not. I don't think about lots of things, to get through my day and be happy. What is something you are a little ashamed of not acknowledging? Hungry, homeless, rainforest fer example, but maybe something more interesting like not petting your dog as much as you should. Seriously.

The one guy who says there is no God.

So I'm robbing this liquor store, when suddenly I recognize the guy behind the counter. It's my old high school gym teacher!

Well, I want to say hi to him, reminisce with him about old times at school, but if I do so, this might cause some social embarassment for him as he would have to admit to having somehow lost his job and taking this crappy job in it's place.

What was the best option for me here? Should I have just pretended I didn't recognize him (he of course didn't recognize me as I was masked), or should I ignore the possible breach of etiquette and take the chance of possibly rekindling an old friendship? He was a great guy!

When people say "there is no God ", do they mean there is no God for them now, or there is no God for them forever ?
I do not want to be involved in mudslinging, i am genuinly asking out of being unsure of their statement.
Anybodies genuine polite opinion will be appreciated.
Regards.

I call once more,
To profess to you, my love.
To tell you,
You are the one I adore.

My love for you,
Burns with white hot intensity.
And when you are around,
My legs turn to goo.

When days are long,
I can't stop thinking about you.
You are always in my mind,
Where thoughts are strong.

I love you,
This cannot change.
For as long as time is,
I will love you through and through

I was walking into work when a coworker said, "Did you hear? Some idiot flew his plane into the WTC."

I walked into the building and went upstairs. I walked into the breakroom to see people around a TV. There was a shadow behind the WTC and BOOM, the second plane crashed. I couldn't believe my eyes. Was that another plane? A circling helicopter? An explosion inside the tower?

I didn't see them fall, as I was manning phones that day. I heard the screams from the breakroom when they did. We were sent home early, and I remember paying an ungodly amount for gasoline, because we were all worried the price would skyrocket.

I learned how old Daniel was when he was put in the lions den. It surprised me.

We were in NY city and it was winter time. There was a huge Occult bookstore and we went in to keep warm. A man and his wife were trying to convince us to buy " A course in miracles " book. He said he was a spiritualist and I asked him to go down the street to pray. He prayed first and he invited his " spirit guide " to come. We both saw and felt it. He said it was " Timothy" who he knew in another life. There was an evil and oppressive feeling. I then prayed and told " timothy " that in Jesus name he had to let this mans mind go and stop deceiving him. " Timothy " left immediatly and this man was in a deep shock at how the Name of Jesus had driven this spirit away. He was deeply impacted by this show of His power and I began to share with him the deep and sweet love of Jesus for him and his family. Mark 16
