Have you ever read "Footprints in the Sand", its a little saying that you can find on a bookmark or on a framed picture at any christian store and it is very well known. It refers to a person walking beside Jesus in the sand, and the person asks why at the hardest times in his life there were only one set of footprints, and Jesus tells him that it wasnt the mans footprints.
Simply it means that He is always with you, and there are going to be rough times because it isnt easy to live a good life. Read the story of Job, see how he allowed Job to be tested, and Job stood by God and was rewarded greatly. I dont know what it is you are going through but no its not easy, especially if you are just starting to try to straighten your life up, but the rewards are worth it. And God doesnt always answer right away and it may not always be the answer you want but he always answers.

Go to your Christian bookstore and get a book called: 31 days to living as a new believer, by Larry Moyer. It is a small book costing only about 5 bucks, but it has a LOT of information for the new believer. I was saved on Easter Sunday, this book was a great help to me.
God Bless

The Christian journey is not easy. I would advise you to get friends who are really close to God. Trust me, I know what God can do. I'll be your online friend to offer you comfort and help with your Christian journey. My advice:make up your mind that you will stick itout no matter what comes your way and pray to God about your concerns sincerely and from your heart and he will hear you. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man (or woman) availeth much.

It's not always hard - but it can be at "times".
Remember that Satan, OUR enemy goes around like a roaring lion...
this includes: planting doubts in people's minds, discouraging Christians, tempting Christians to make the wrong choices, etc...
Just be patient, and "wait" on God. He does it for your own good, and within time it'll be revealed why God seemed so far away. I also suggest you read the poem "Footprints" because it's the same underlying message.
God Bless.
Stick with it. God hasn't gone anywhere - He just wants to teach you patience. (i think)

In Christianity there are hills and valleys. We seem to go up and down-but God never changes. Do you have close friends who are Christians? Do you go to a Bible study?
Keep around people who are Christians and find a Bible study to join.

Yes it will remain hard. But never give up. Jesus said you will be persecuted for my sake. Forget about the world. And worship God. Get to know his ways and not his acts. Never stop preying and get some fellow christian freinds and talk about God all the time keep him in the front of your mind at all times. If you fill your mind with filth filth will come out. So keep your mind on things of above and not on things of this world. And remember iron sharpens iron be around positive people. If you prey and keep your faith God will reveal himself thru you like never before. Lets prey Dear father thank you for your blue skies today and Lord I ask that could you find it in your heart to forgive me of my sins today and Lord I prey that you would bless Brown Sugar today with the wisdom to know that you are with her and you are working on some thing positive for her and father I ask that you can some how comfort her and let her feel your presense upon her and I prey that she feel it and I prey this in Jesus Holy name Amen.

The grace "walk" is notably "through" the "valley",
http://www.godshew.org/GraceWalk.htm
as "peace with God" is "through Jesus->Christ";
http://www.godshew.org/through.htm
And notably it's the valley of the "shadow" of death;
the "shadow" being the "law" in Hebrews 10, and
http://www.godshew.org/Hebrews11.htm
the valley is between Mt Sinai & Mt Sion: Heb 12;
http://www.godshew.org/Sevens2.htm
which also notes when "compassed about", then
it's no longer a walk, but a "run" along "with patience",
http://www.godshew.org/GraceRun.htm
which requires a "weight" loss to make it alive to:
http://www.godshew.org/Hebrews13.htm
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

God listens to you always. The devil will try to make you believe that he is not there for you. Don't listen to him. To live the christian life it is not hard. It is impossible. That is why we live it with Jesus hand in hand.

Jesus said his burden is light and his yoke is easy. If it is hard then it is man himself that makes it hard. He said he is always with us and will not forsake us. Sometimes he just wants us to relax and wait. As humans we usually want an answer 'right now' and Gods plan may not be for right now. Just keep praising him and you will be ok.
