I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, I just want to know people's opinions on the subject. Please don't yell at me or anybody else, though. Also, if you are going to state your opinion, would you mind to please state your reasons why or why not you feel that way?

.....or do you believe people should be more objective about the truth YOU believe? Is "your truth" SO pathetic that you're afraid to have it callenged (ie, all you can give is blow-off answers?), knowing it won't stand up to critisium? Do you get your feelings hurt, or do you have to avoid the challenges? Are you a coward, and incompetent about what you claim is true; Do you just follow the pack because you are?

At my husband's work Christmas party, I invited one of the young women in his office to sit at our table because her date was working late. She has apparently taken a liking to me. At first she just spent a few minutes talking to me on the phone when I called my husband. Then she moved on to calling me. Then she started dropping by our house to visit every once in a while, as she only lives a few blocks away. Now she comes by every few days. She has shown up at our doorstep with uncooked steaks, salad and rolls, and invited herself to dinner. She buys me expensive gifts (the newest one being the entire OPI Spring collection). I have tried talking to her about our age difference (20 years) and the fact that we don't have much in common. She agrees with me, and stays away a few days, but she always comes back. Recently, she has begun to tell her co-workers that she and I are best friends. How do I politely make it clear to her that I would like her to leave me alone?

Since i was a child, i was always sensitive to psychic phenomena, my dreams come true, i often have weird senses of deja-vu and i would like to know if there is a way to explore that realm in my mind and find out if i'm somewhat "gifted" or not.Any good suggestions on if and how i can do that?

Frankly, I would prefer a Moslem. A Moslem, in spite of the popular view of them, is unlikely to do drugs, party all night, shoot guns, kill anyone who looks at them the wrong way, have wild parties or be chronically unemployed. We have far more to fear from gangsta thugs than from the average Moslem.

Some believe that because man has the highest level of intelligence amongst all earthly beings and IS afraid of death he created the concept of an afterlife.

Then he invented the concept of a God to control man's disposition in life and in death.

Next man developed organized religion to add rituals and rules to the concept. Similar to any other organization of rules that prolongs man's longevity ex: law enforcement, ethics or when and what to eat.

To summarize: Man is afraid of death, as a result man used his intelligence to created an abstract being that allows man to live happily ever after - even after death.

I have great doubts about the existence of God. It is even more difficult having been raised Christian with members of my family devout

Mine's

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Facts.
In Quran Allah(One God) has challenged the non Muslims that if you think that you can modify or change this Holy Quran then try your best and you will not successed. Even change a single dot or line from Quran or modify it but you cant do so. Because it is being protected by Allah Himself.
Fact 2
Current Bible is modified several times. therefor no 2 current Bibles are similar. Every thing is changed so Why should one believe it . its true from the above fact.
Fact 3
If you find Quran in America and compair it with Quran present in Somalia or India or Pakistan or Afganistan or any other part of the world you will find it 100 percent similar with not even a single change of a Dot or word in it.
its true and try it your self and compare it if you are a true believer.

Unfortunately, she's got a boyfriend, but I'd like to say:
"I will not bother you anymore, but I hope your boyfriend knows that he's the luckiest man alive."

And as a seperate translation, how can I say, "I'm willing to study Spanish and learn it so i can just talk to you."

Please help me translate this accurately, as I will check it a few times before I use anything. Thank you.

I see people on here all the time talking bad about other countries. Mainly the U.S. They either take what the government does or says and assume that every single person of that country acts that way. Or they just completely use every single bad or annoying thing they know or think about the country and use that as a general stereotype of how everyone in that country acts. So, why do people have such hate for these countries and believe everything they hear about how the people are, etc?

Is religion a disease ? Does religion put people against each other ? If a football fan that causes trouble,is a hooligan, then what is a suicide bomber ? How can seemingly inteligent prople be brainwashed into thinking that killing their fellow men, will somehow take them to a better place ? I am not religious BUT i know the difference between right and wrong and i have moral values.I think that religion (whatever religion) is EVIL and is the biggest cause of DEATH in the history of the world and ALWAYS will be !
