Just look around you, and you know there is a devil. But
believe in Jesus and you can avoid hell altogether.

There is no actual proof.Is there?If you're religious,then believe in Hell and Heaven.The only hell is absolute absence of Good.And Devil is absence of God.It is all based on Absence.And as you've said "some are telling if you do mistakes you go to hell",sinning and all such concepts are creations of the Religious institutions.Wasn't Pope preaching to the people that accepting the "Sun being the center of the Solar System is a sin"?We know that it is a fact ,now though.These institutions were actually just like today's governments ."Preaching to the people the Dos and Don'ts of life",It was a method to control people just in the name of God.Didn't they wallow in luxuries in the Vatican Basilica.Don't they live in a huge wonder-palace?After all"Civilization is by what we forbid".

I wish there were a hell! I would love it if all evil people, such as fanatical theists that say that all atheists go to hell, were inevitably punished eternally for their crude blind wrongful pleasure of disrupting fine clear rightful truth and justice. It isn't so though; logic and observation both demonstrate that there is neither hell, nor heaven, nor afterlife in general.

I'm surprised ur asking this question.. Isn't planet earth the Hell and Most of the Human being more devilish than Devils????

Noone can tell you for sure if there is a devil and a hell but commiting sins(and by that i mean being bad and untrue to others and yourself) sure burdens your soul and what comes around goes around. So maybe there isnt a hell and evertthing bad we do reflects on us here and now, sooner or later.

the devil was made from fire, and after he refused to prostrate infront of adam, he was banished. the devil then promised our lord that he would try and turn every human being created away from the truth, make them do sins etc. the gates of hell were then open, for our lord knew that teh devil would never give up.
but if we truly believe in our lord, then he will guide us to the straight path and will make sure we dont fall into the hands of the devil, as our lord is all seeing, and all knowing.

nah not like that this is why religion gets a bad name ok there is a devil and there is a hell no one can tell you rught now if you going to go to hell but God gave us his Book the Bible so read it and learn from it ! only God can judge!!!!! the bible says not to judge with the judgement you pass on someone it will come back to your face one day!!!!and you will be judged of that same thing!

Only in people's minds. Continual remorse and mentally 'kicking yourself' for past mistakes can make you feel like you're in hell.
