The poor little bluebird was caught in a snowstorm, and was tossed and blown far from its warm nest. Falling to the ground, the bluebird shivered and thought this would surely be the death of him. Then, a bull walked by and stopped just long enough to dump a steaming load of manure on the bird. The little bluebird thought that was the last straw, but then it noticed it was warming up as it took heat from the manure. Warmed up, he felt much better and became so happy he burst into song. It was just at that moment that a fox passed by and heard the bird singing. The fox pounced on the poor little bluebird and ate him.
The morals of this tale are two.
Everyone who dumps on you is not necessarily trying to hurt you.
And,
Even if you're up to your neck in bullsh*t, it's often better just to keep your mouth shut and appreciate what you have.
