I was at home, getting ready for my brother's funeral when I turned my computer on to see the photos of the first tower being hit! The rest of the day was just a blur!
Look at all these memories of that horrible day being stirred, and try to imagine what we COULD HAVE DONE as a nation if the Supreme Court hadn't illegally "anointed" George W. Bush as our president! We had the sympathies of THE ENTIRE WORLD, and now the entire world HATES us! We had a HUGE BUDGET SURPLUS, and now we have RECORD DEFICITS!! We had our nation unified by a desperate, despicable act of cowardice, and now we have done the SAME THING to a sovereign nation who had NOTHING TO DO with 9-11-01!!! We had the chance folks, and look what our American Taliban "leadership" has done with that chance!!! It makes me truly ill!!

I was still in high school in trig class when someone came in and told us to turn the TV on that someone had flown two planes into the WTC. We turned on the TV and it was showing the planes everyone started arguing over who it had done it weird thing is everyone was saying Germany or Russia. We watched the news in all the other classes that whole day.

I was at school. Someone in the building somewhere had been watching the news, and then word spread around the school like wildfire. We didn't do anything the rest of the day except watch the news.

I was at work when I heard. If I remember correctly, my boyfriend at the time called to tell me about it. I then went to Yahoo! News and read about it. Every night after work for a week I came home and was glued to CNN.

I had just gotten up at noon, as usual, and barely had time to pee before the phone was ringing. It was my ex, saying, "Turn on the TV! Turn on the TV!" And I turned it on and we both sat there, in different cities, holding the phone and crying in horror.

I was teaching and another teacher had the new on for her students. The program was interrupted and we heard it. I want to hold my son, but I had to take care of other people's kids. Thank God, his teacher was taking care of him.
