I think that the pastor is a little confused about God

The pastor is only a human being just like yourself! He does not have the power to see things, only the man upstairs knows what lies ahead and he is the only god. Your pastor is wrong and shouldn't have said that to you. Remember this, Man will always steer you wrong, watch what people do and dont follow what they say!!

If the pastor said you were God, he needs to refresh his memory and study his Bible some more. Jesus Christ was the Son of God and last I heard, He had ascended back to heaven about 2 millenia ago, so that rules you out fella! God lives in those who accept His salvation plan, but that only makes us Christians (Christ-like), not gods.

Your pastor is very wise and highly evolved. Of course you are God, each one of us is God. Each one of us is a perfect individuation of God. Just as a drop of water from the ocean is comprised of the same matter as the ocean, all the drops together form the body of the ocean. So it is with God. All souls (human, spirit, animal, vegetation and inanimate), all life, comprises God.
It is a liberating and powerful realization to have. We are all ONE in God's love.

Very funny. He might have said you were God of your destiny, but I seriously doubt any pastor said you were God. Well, what kind of church were you in? WICCA? They might let you be God

in some way it could happend because god can take possestion of a person even if it is for a few seconds but if that happened to u u wouldve so been speaking in tounges!
