In the air force, navy, army, or marines, They think that it is politicaly incorect to pray in Jesus' name if you are a Chaplin or anybody in the armed forces. That is a violation of the rights that we have in the first amendment. Taking Jesus out of Christian prayer is like taking, God out of Jewish prayers, Allah out of muslim prayers, and making buddist worship an oscar award insted of budda. Does anyone here thinks its wrong to do this to people? Just because librals and secularist are more comfortable with taking Jesus out of prayer, it doesn't make it right. Can I get an Amen?

If our designer was so intelligent, why do we have to brush our teeth? Why isn't our saliva much more powerful of a cleaner? There are many dangerous mountains and cliffs in the world, why weren't we designed with wings to save ourselves in case we fell? How come our bodies take so long to heal themselves? If we lose an arm or a leg, why don't we grow new ones? How come there are so many germs that can so easily harm the body? Why is our skin so weak that a tiny bug such as a mosquito can pierce it? How come so many people are born with genetic flaws that lead to disabilities? How come people that become paralyzed can't heal?

I don't think we were designed at all, but, if we were, it definitely wasn't done intelligently.

I was just reading some questions asked by atheists and I noticed that there's always at least one person (theist) saying that they pitty atheists and agnostics, basically for being who they are...But why should they? The atheists and agnostics made the choice of being who they are and it's no one's business to judge, look down on them, and/or feel sorry for them because we do not know what drove them to make that choice...
I'm a Catholic myself, but I must admit that it's really infuriating when people are intolerant of one another's religious views and beliefs...especially when we all expect others to respect our decisions...
Also, why do theists feel the obligation and need to change atheists' views, especially when they know that they are not going to succeed in doing so??

if I attend mass on a Saturday in place of a Sunday, does that actually make the Sabbith a Saturday in this case? When the Bible says to "honor the Sabbith" should I honor it as Saturday? Any feedback will be appreciated.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maltheism
http://maltheism.blogspot.com/

Def: the belief that there is a God that does exist and that this God is evil, or at best not wholly good. It is contrasted with eutheism, which is the belief that God exists and is good.

There are people who believe the Christian God exists, but that he is evil and must be fought to be destroyed. Most claim that "Satan" is merely God's alias for whenever he commits evil. Like the alias "Emmanuel Goldstein" used by Big Brother in the novel Ninteen Eighty-Four.

So, what do you think of Maltheists?

I have worked in retail for a while now are have desided that some customers are just plan RUDE.
They treat staff as something that they stepped in on the road. When they lose their receipt they start with the "consumer rights act"
they don't look at you when they are specking but want you to stop what your doing to help them!!!

if you deal with consumers what do you hate?

Why do some people think that it is only right to pray without 'asking' for something. I read in my Bible that we should 'ask and it shall be given, good measure..."; "be anxious for nothing but in EVERYTHING, by prayer and supplication"; and that God will not "despise the prayer of the destitute". So why is it that I should feel guilty for asking God to help me with something? I have been praying about a partiuclar situation that could potentially have devastating circumstances for me, and I still don't get deliverance from this particular situation, but I am made to feel guilty because I ask for help with it? If God is supposed to be our heavenly Father, and if you needed $100 in an emergency, couldn't you ask your earthly father and expect it? Now if it's a 911 type emergency, why can't you ask your Heavenly Father for this? I don't understand. Someone with a real answer help me, as I am getting down to mustard seed faith!!!

I've read about it and I believe it would be an amazing experience, even if it is a trick of the mind rather than a real spiritual adventure. If anyone has done it, can you advise how I can acheive it myself.
