You mean a Chamber Pot. Instead of bathrooms, people would use a Chamber Pot, which was emptied every morning by a Chamber Maid.

I think you mean a chamber pot. A chamber pot is also known as a "thunder mug" or "Slop Jar". In olden days before indoor plumbing a chamber pot was kept under the bed in case the sleeper awoke in the night and needed to use the bathroom. They were made of different materials. Some were made of metal and had a lid. Others were made of porcelain or crockery. Some were quite decorated.
As an aside, one reason that a man would walk on the outside when walking with a woman was so that he could throw his cloak over her in case someone decided to empty their chamber pot into the gutter from an upper window just as the man and woman were passing. Sounds nasty but that was how things were in days of yore.

I think you mean a chamber pot. It was used to go to the bathroom in while in your bedroom at night. In the morning the chamber maid would then empty it. If that is not what you meant, I am sorry. I do not know what you want then.

Its "Chamber Pot" .Way back in the days of old.At night time they weren't so bold. Instead of going to the out house in their skivies, they'd go in their closet and use the privy!
************************************************************
They didn't have plumbing back then and the chamber pot is where they'd tinkle at night! They were used in the USA too!
