This brutal murderer who had absolutely no sanctity of human life got thw same treatment as he dished out.

I think they should have taken him to large bridge in Bagdad, hang him up, and let CNN and Al Gazerra, and with him being executed in front of the entire world. THAT's REALITY TV!!!

Isn't this JUSTICE? You want to try and negotiate with the likes of this born-again Hitler?

First of all, I just have to say I find such vitriol coming out of someone with the screen name 'LuvPinkPuffies' amusing. More so that you have a desire to see someone murdered live on international television. Isn't it enough that they've splashed his dead face on every paper and news channel in existence?

I also love how you made the leap from someone pointing out inconsistencies in the report to "you" (whoever that's supposed to be) wanting to negotiate.

On another point, I think it really demeans the people who fought and died in World War II to compare every person you don't like to Hitler. Hitler was the greatest threat Democracy ever faced, followed by Soviet Russia. 20 million people died because of Hitler. For 50 years we lived under the threat of complete annihilation of every life form on the planet, with the possible exceptions of cockroaches and Kieth Richards. Compared to World War II and the Cold War, the War on Terror is a cakewalk. Statistically you're more likely to be struck by lightning than killed by a terrorist. What's more, yes Zarqawi was the head of Al Qaeda in Iraq, but they're only about ten percent of the insurgents. In the grand scheme of things he wasn't that important, a minor player at best. I know it's great to have an enemy that we can get strident about again to take out our frustrations on, but stop elevating these guys by comparing them to Hitler. They don't deserve it.

First of all,

what are you saying, people?
Sure, he's a dirty, sadistic serial murderer, but just remember, if you act like he did, or even treat him inhumanely or cruelly, you'll be no different from him or his blinded, dogma-fed pee-wee henchmen.

The thing I think should be done is probably treat him humanely, albeit very harshly, sentence him to life in prison (a very bad prison. He doesn't deserve those with cable TV and a mattress protector on his bed, if you know what I mean.).
Either that or get the World Court to sentence him to death.

We should never stoop down as low as dogs like him, or what difference would that separate beast from man?

if we do beat him up, pee on his face, behead him, fry him in hot oil etc etc..... would surely please us all, but would it leave any difference between us and those dogs who call themselves jehadis. it is better to get rid zarqawi and his likes by throwing a 500lb bomb on his head (personally i would not like to dirty my knife by beheading him), i would prefer slicing my **** than slicing his stinking jehadi neck.
