Shouldn't all things be done to edifying, or for spiritual growth? (1 Cor. 14:26)

I have come on boards like this before answering questions against Christianity for apologetics but know people don't really listen anyway. What makes people reconsider is seeing God's love in you, and they can't see that over a computer.

All that the debate does for me anyway is get me annoyed and focused on head knowledge rather then growing in my relationships with God and others or becoming more like Christ.

So what's the point in being on boards like this, or at least for this section?

I am a real spiritual person and I was visualizing. All my goals and plans in my mind were already accomplished. It would be very hard for me to fulfill anything else because everything I wanted I had and would just living like what next? Which brought me to the conclusion that when we accomplish things no matter if we conquered the world, there will always be something else we are hungry for in life. This is why I now know what it means to find Jesus Christ in your life, he is eternal happiness(Serene state of mind). I just wanted to know if Anybody feels the same way. If you had everything would you still not be satisfied with life?

Hi

I live with Japanese and Korean female college students. I notice that the Japanese students are very quite and polite..

Koreans seem quite...different. opposite would be offensive but they seem much different.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

Or are there cultural diffeences?

We ask ourselves daily what came first The Osterich or the Egg (they came from Africa they were here before chickens) and to develop it into the perspective of "Creation vs. Naturalization" means to ask "What came first GOD or The UNIVERSE?" right? We spend endless hours debating the Bible-Koran-and ultimately "In The Beginning.." The religious type need no proof they have their faith to guide them-well that and their fear that they will burn for eternity if they deny THEIR God. The scientific type uses tools and knowledge passed from mankind in his pursuit of "Where did we come from?" and we all want the truth. I will take credit for being the genius to finally figure out THE TRUTH and we can all go home and laugh about it and you can believe which ever side you want but ultimately be thankful that you are alive and an American where because of OUR system of Justice and Freedom of thinking allowed me to tell you this-The Big Bang was God being slapped on the behind by Mother Nature!

If life no longer becomes liveable, if someone just desides that it is time to move on to the next realm, and this person truely believes in God and Christ, will their soul be cast into the lake of fire. Just wondering, I have several friends that went this way what is your opinion?

You always hear how the angels had long white robes...right? Who made them? and what material are they made of? Cotton? and if so are you saying sheep are in Heaven?Is there milk and honey in Heaven? and if so I guess bees and cows are in Heaven....Right?
