The Apostle Paul said not to keep company with such men that do contrary to the Word and call themselves brothers (or sisters for that matter) Such people do not even wish them Godspeed.
If this strictness applies to the congregation - much more so with the Pastor of a church assembly. (The Church is the people, or assembly - not the building. So no. Men who claim to be saved and are leaders need not step foot up to teach the people his deviant sexuality - Being saved is to be saved from sin, not to embrace it and give blessing to it.
FOR THE RECORD - We are talking about people who profess to be Saved. What the world does outside the Body of Christ (the church) is not our affair.

Should a church allow a pastor with brown hair?
How about a bald pastor?
A left-handed pastor?
Pretty ridiculous, right? None of these things matter.
Neither does being gay.

No. The Bible says that homo sexuals will not inherit God's kingdom. ( 1Corinth 6:9) So, what kingdom will homos preach?
The Bible says that God will destroy homos the way he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. ( Romans 1:21-27;32) So, what kind of life will they preach?
If anyone says that homos should preach, would they also agree for a pastor who has had incestous relationship to preach? What about those practicing bestiality? Should they also be allowed to preach? Is this a good way of allowing "equal rights for all"?

According to Romans 1 and 2 they are gay because they knew the truth and changed it into a lie, so God turned them over to a reprobate mind. So do you want a reprobate mind teaching you a lie?

he / she might say some things worth hearing

Not if he continues in his sins. Would you want a bank robber to teach you about God and then go rob a bank afterwards? Of course not.

Absolutely...he's not selling gayness...he's selling the good life if you follow in that church's beliefs.
