Let me flip your question around a bit: "Is Islam the one true religion?" Well I'm afraid I can't answer that, and nor can I say if it's fake or not.
However, do note that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Although you may not have opened up the Qur'an, plenty of people around the world are, and plenty are moreover believing in it.
If you mean "brought on by force" as in the violence, well those terrorists really know very little about true Islam.

Yes to the 1st part of your question. Islam is not forced on anybody. The remarkable thing about Islam is, one has to be convinced, and accept it without being pressurized. Its so sad to read what people think about this religion.

No one, and I mean no one, is forced to follow a religion brought upon by force.
The miracle of the Quran is its scientific accuracy. It has many of the same stories of the Bible yet none of its logical fallacies and none of its scientific errors.

Depends on what you are defining as fake
I do not believe it is a religion based on truth
But it is a man's interpretation of life and the way he thought it should be lived
