That is one view to your thought but in my opinion there is one better for me. It may not be for you.
It is written that nothing new is under the sun; what was, is, and always will be. You have noticed the repetition and that is the reason for your question in my view. Why limit it to time and why not associate it to the fact human nature never changes. The facts you stated in the use of the word "they" three times seems to mean mankind or human beings.
In my view in pure simplicity one learns best by repeating over and over what is desired to be learned until it is engraved in the mind. I see in pure simplicity the God of this system, My God uses this method so all will have no excuse by saying God did not prove there is a God.
You give it more thought, have a great day and do smile. I see the other who got their two points did smile as they worked to be on top of the list as leaders in this Q&A.

wonderful question,
this is the way of disbleviers.they were sure that they were real prophets from Allah but they denied that coz the devil controlled thier minds but someday everyone will know the truth.
i am sure that the disblievers who said that about the prophets were sure that they are wrong.Allah will illumenate our sights someday insha`allah.
