I wouldn't be satisfied in life. I need Jesus. Through Jesus I don't need anything else in life. He provides all that I need. Nothing more, nothing less! Thank the Lord!

No, I don't think people would ever be happy with what they got. People are humans, and humans are not perfect. They have a lot of desires and goals, and as a result, will eventually become selfish and greedy for some. There's always going to be something they'll be lacking (love, friendship, money, home, health, knowledge, etc)
When I take time off and think for just a second, that I should just appreciate what I have now (home, friends, job, etc), I would be content because I am far better off than some people who don't have a home, or do have a home but can't live there for whatever reasons they have.
So no, I don't think people in general would be content with what they have because of the high desire and goals they set for themselves...

I don't think you would. If you have everything, you seem like you've accomplished everything and you eventually get bored. I can't assure you Jesus Christ can give you eternal happiness in your life. I think you'll truly be happy when you have had a long climb to the top, eventually succeed and earn every great reward you deserve for giving it your all and teaching your children one day every mistake you ever made to help them in their future. You can't have everything in life because you would just keep asking and asking for more and forget the important little things in life. I hope this answers your question

I feel the same as you. If you have Jesus Christ in your life, it brings a peace that passes all understanding... therefore, you do not need anything material to make you happy. True happiness in found in having peace within.
John 14:27 -
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 16:33 -
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Philippians 4:7-
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Human mind is full of complex feelings. When one want is full filled another arises. A man not having food wants something to eat and get rid of his hunger. If it is over, then he wants something more -more food or tasty food.
Then he want s rest. He imagines about the luxuries. Then something not necessary for him. The list of his wants are full filled every now and then. Still he will want something else. Even a man not wanting anything personally wants something on behalf of others. Peace with everybody Everybody Tobe happy, spiritually well placed like that. Even there are people longing for something they had no idea of what it is. They know not what they sought. They are not satisfied with anything they have and longing for something else.

Yes, even if you had everything you "thought" you wanted, you wouldn't be happy.
There would be something else wrong, your new stuff wasn't new enough or you had too much clutter and would need a bigger house. Then you would fill up that house and need more stuff, and a bigger house.
I don't think that anyone can really be satisfied, I think that people can only become content with the things they have and the life they live.
Myself included.

I don't have much, but I have the love of my heavenly Father and that's enough for me. It makes me very satisfied with life, I don't want for anything, because I'm well taken care of by Him. I continue to keep a serene state of mind, even when the chips are down, I refuse to allow anyone or anything to steal my joy!!!!
I pray for everyone to feel this secure in their relationship with the Almighty!!!!! He is everything to me and without Him I am nothing....this was a great question, thank you.

I don't know about you, but everything I want isn't limited to material thing. If I had everything I wanted I WOULD be happy, because what I want are all the smart and good things in life.

Part of our drive is to accomplish our goals, but having done that, what would be the driving force to cause you to keep going? And if you had everything you ever wanted,I think you'd be pretty bored

Happiness has nothing to do with possession.
It's actually the contrary.
Not needing to posses things is the first sign of self fulfillment and happiness.
Regardless or one's religion.
