My faith isn't helping my sadness, my family, people. I just feel lost and broken without them. (my 3 best friends died in a car crash last weekend) I hate this.

Okay, guys yesterday was 6/6/06 (666), and some weird things happened in my home. First a saw a streak of light in illuminating in my hall, but it was not coming from the window or any place else, and soon vanished. The day before that I saw a figure walk pass my bedroom. Ok, then I heard a strange noise like a toy car starting up, but no kids were playing. Everyone in my home was sleeping when this all occured. I was freaked out, but soon realized that it was 11:30 at night and 666 would soon be over! I am so glad it is! Was that weird or what? Is there a supernatural world that we deny as human beings?

No, not a frequency list of letters, but of _phonemes_: the schwa sound, the /sh/ sound, the /ch/ sound, and all the different vowel sounds, etc. There are between 40 and 45 of these in English. Do we have a linguist in the house?

I have really strong feelings about porn, and wondered whether anyone has a sufficient argument to say that its a good thing? or do people agree?
pretty much all pornography i have ever seen focuses on male pleasure and penetration, or girl on girl action - but for the pleasure of men , not women. as for hardcore pornography, depicting rape, women being ejaculated on whilst crying, being beaten etc, i think this as pleasure positively encourages violence and sexual crimes against women.
other than that, i just find it upsetting that people watch it for pleasure - it takes everyting sensual about sex out, and leaves only the pushing and shoving, creating a very unrealistic idea of sex and pleaure. any thoughts?

Lots of people on Yahoo! Answers were claiming the world would end (or something horribly bad would happen) yesterday, on 6-6-06 because of the "mark of the beast" number. Well, here we are...nothing out of the ordinary happened, we're still here. Anyone who was scared/worried about that day, or who claimed the world would end, like to comment on why it was so silly to believe it was a bad day? Hmm?

I have very little knowledge and a lot of confusion about this topic. Why is Aramaic so similar to modern-day Arabic? Why did Jesus, a Jew, speak Aramaic? When did the Jews start speaking Hebrew?

I am writing a book for those who have loved or tried to help one who is on crack whether it be a mother, father , wife ,husband, lover or relative hoping it will give some insight to the unanswered questions one carries within them. I have found there are not many resources for the one who is standing on the other side of the road and would like to change that. All names will remain anonymous. The book will be a non-fiction publication and hopefully be completed by the end of the year.

I tink the most amount of gangster,mafia,terrorist is in asian and russian countries..like india pakistan,sri lanka being really bad boys they never sing songs and say they are gangster and always underground and even if they show their face they are shot....so is being gangster cool in USA? does the police do nothing about it?

the light at the end of the tunnel is not a metaphor for hope its a train in this murphys law...... or at work if something goes wrong coz your boss made a wrong decision people often say its murphys law like it means tuff luck or some kind of proverb.... what do you know about this and try not to be sarcastic like all the others when giving an explanation

My family member never brings anything to the family . The family always makes excuses, (they bought for the 5 children, they have no money left). How do I let that family know I am tired of giving without recognition. Or am I being greedy???
