Work at something you LOVE... but be realistic no job is perfectly tailored to anyone persons complete and total job needs. Such terms as 'if you don't love your job then leave it' are not really practical to the average working person. There is always some factor to the job which you will not like performing for any of a myriad of reasons.Too many reasons to list here.

You have to appreciate the real benefits that working will provide you. Therefore a positive COMPROMISE is in order. Do not waste time with negative and emotional thoughts such as... 'I'M SELLING OUT'. Another bit of wisdom is 'SEPARATE your work from your personal life' which means if your whole social and personal life revolves around your job then you may be what has been called 'the COMPANY MAN'. Dedication and sincere devotion to your company and employer doesn't mean that's all their is to your 'LIFE'. Your employer has a genuine right to expect loyalty to the company and a good work ethic from you. Your employer does not have the right to run your life completely.

Do you get my drift?

If you don't have fun in your job find a job that you really enjoy been there, work, and get along with your co-workers. Remember people spent more time a work that a home. Ahhhhhh......and always can't be perfect at your job place, it will be days that you will like to hide or run away, but that's part of life.

I don't think of it being a "job" but as a hobby. I actually love what I do...I teach!

But I used to work in a place where the work was so physical, so demanding I had to quit. With a diploma I felt better, and I found the job that I like. It took me eight years!
