I tink the most amount of gangster,mafia,terrorist is in asian and russian countries..like india pakistan,sri lanka being really bad boys they never sing songs and say they are gangster and always underground and even if they show their face they are shot....so is being gangster cool in USA? does the police do nothing about it?

NO BUDDY these amricans are just hoax and humours they know nothing about being real gangster or mafia...till 1999 ppl thought the only dangerous ppl are italian mafias or russian because they are always portrayed in movies and big books written on them ...And then entered the terrorist the Taliban from afghan thats when they realised what terrorism is and real killing is and big international crime is..American ganster or so called gangsta are nothing but poser jus singing song selling drugs in the club..Is a great deal for them ..I think ur from India and in India if its mafia means real big man where the interpol is lookin for the person . And u can never make out an hardcore gangster in the midst of people walking in bombay cause they dont show off what they are ..because in India the police first hit and then talk or if he's being too naughty then he's encountered..These are nothing compared to the asian gangster only they are not popular in western countries...and always underground.its called the MUMBAI UNDERWORLD....which even controls the bollywood and finances of major countries of the world...so the gangsta ur talkin bout is not gangsta they are called cheap posers,who invite trouble on themselves....

The ones you hear singing about being gangsters really aren't gangsters. And the people that listen to the music are mostly posers. Mostly just stupid white kids that have no identity of their own.
There are only a few places here that have real gangs and real mafia and the police are either too scared or corrupt to do anything or too oblivious to know that it's happening.
There's Russian Mafia and Street Gangs in California. Italian Mafia and street gangs in the northeast NY/NJ. Street gangs in most big cities in the north. No real organized gangs in the south or Midwest but there are local gangs that protect neighborhoods and dope traps.

A lot of times the police are not capable of handling all the gang activity, that doesn't make it cool.
It is never cool to bury your children, or people you grew up with.
People have always had the urge to "belong" to something that makes them fell important. Gangs offer that, to a degree...When your in jail over it you are there alone, when you die for it your death is used as an excuse to kill some one else's child.
If people want to belong to something, they should be striving towards organizations that are trying to put an end to that . If you think it isn't exciting enough just attend an rally once you will start to feel it, especially when you hear from families like the one who just buried seven people last week including a grandmother, and three small children. (none of whom ever joined a gang)

Gangsta (not gangster- how corny do you sound) is a state of being. It's not suppose to be cool. I used to date someone from a L.A. Crips gang. Some rappers (posers) make it seem as if it's cavi, but If you really knew what gangsta was (I mean lived it day by day), you would not wanna make it a cool thang. It's not cool. People get shot, for Christ sake!
