There can be nothing more important then religion, Life is not to live as per own's desire or for physical pleasure only.
Because there is a purpose to life, therefore religion is important. If you let go religion, then the life after has nothing for you excpet punishment and sorrow.
Try to find the purpose of life, before it is too late.

Religion is of no importance to me, it is my relationship with God that is of the utmost importance to me. It keeps me going every single day, I thank Jesus for his mercy and grace to go on in the hard times, I thank Jesus for his blessings and love when I count the wonderful answers to prayer, the gifts of life, children, home and husband. Relationship is above religion in all aspects, I can come to the Lord with all my questions and concerns, and He is there to answer. With religion I had rote prayer and confession, never feeling God in my life. So, I hope this helps, or was worth your time reading. Blessings to you.

my faith and my religion plays a very strong role in every aspect of my lift - that's what happens when you decide to walk with God. I use prayer as my first resource instead of my last resort and I use things in the bible for how I act. For example if someone does something to you sure it's easy to be mad, but where does that get you? Instead I pray for the person and for myself to be able to forgive and forget.

It is not just religion, it is my faith, in how I want to live. So, religion is almost as important as my job. Just like I need my job to eat, to pay bills, etc, I need religion to keep me sane, to keep me honest, to be around others who believe like I do.
