Before I start I'm Welsh and proud of it, I celebrate St Davids day, wear my rugby shirt and have the Welsh flag on my number plates.

I really think it is a shame that there is so much controversy over the St Georges Cross. I think that it should be flown (but maybe not those car flags!) and NOT just for the blasted World Cup! For some reason you're not allowed to be proud of being English. If my other half wanted to wear an England top or fly the flag there's nothing stop him only a harmless bit of banter (which he gives to me too!). I think you should reclaim St Georges Day and the flag for the nation and be proud of it!

We have no choice but to put up with Political Correctness. Minorities have more rights in our country then we, ourselves do. The Government is too blame for this, they are more bothered about how they will be looked upon by other countries and we the great British and our opinions of our own country falls on deaf ears to the current Government. Others slate the BNP but the BNP want us to be the great country, the inpenetrable fortress we once was. I am not racist but the fact that we cannot be patriotic in this country because of ethnic minorities and immigrants f***s me right off. Anyone that wants to live in this country should appreciate that we the English, love England and everything that the St. Georges cross (flag) stands for. If they cannot, then all that is left to say is Good Riddance.

Errr... you can... who's stopping you??? Whether or not people then take the view that you must be a Nazi is really the question... and that's due to the fact the cross of St George has somehow been commandeered by those peace loving and tolerant folk in the BNP.... is nothing to do with political correctness - blame the political incorrectness of the BNP for whatever problem you have....

Because we go out an elect idiots and petty little people to be our politicians.

If you voted Labour or Liberal in local elections then you only have yourself to blame.

Its not national politicians that are the problem, its the nosey little hitlers in the city and town councils that cause issues.

If you really are a socialist or a liberal thats fine and you should vote with your politics and conscience at national elections, but at local elections leave them out in the cold because they waste their time on political correctness rather than improving services.

Don't vote for them and then they cannot do stuff like this and also as a bonus most of them would have to go out and get a job!

My St Georges flag will be flying throughout the World Cup and I don't care who has a problem with it. I'm English, and i am what I am.

Are you currently in england? If you were you would see the whole country sporting flags, banners, hats everything under the sun in support of the English team. My neighbours have their flags out all year round.

It has NOTHING to do with political correctness, i dont know where you are but it is not england

P.S it is actually a welsh man who is complaining about the flags not anyone else, and it seems like he doesnt want any english in his country anyway, so i wouldnt listen to him, why are you?

Man, everywhere I go here I can see the St George Cross hanging out of windows and stuck onto cars... I think it's allowed... and if it isn't, I can't imagine anyone being bothered to call the police to inform on the people who are doing it.

Take it easy man, it's not as bad as you think.

I don't know, I think political correctness of that kind leads to racism and problems rather than solving problems! At the moment I think we sometimes try to be so accomodating to other cultures we can become second class citiesans a bit.

because we are too polite to say to everyone no, we dont care this is our country and we are proud enough to boast about it like all the other nations.

but no, we are that worried about being thought of as anything other than nice. we chicken out of it and then kick our selves the day after for not being ballsie enough.

i understand what you mean and i have just put my flag out the window and wonder if i will be told to take it back in. We must do this in numbers so the government take notice and give us a day off on st.georges day too.
