I went out for a walk and saw a car parking along the road. Mommy gets out of the car, a big girl too and a little one (round about 4 years old) was just about to do the same. Mommy is busy at the car boot and the little girls feet are hanging out of the car while she's struggeling to get out of the seat. The wind picked up, pushed the door and sqeezed the girl's leg really hard. That hurts! She was crying so bad. And her mother's first and only reaction was: "Own fault."
I know it's not my buisness how other people raise their children, but ... *aaaaarrrrng* ... I have no words for that.
Sometimes in public, even though you don't know the details, you can see it so often how people just "run over" other people's feelings and needs. I'm conviced basically it's all down to a lack of respect.
Anyone who experiences the same?

I just purchased a BlackBerry Pearl. Everytime I try to upload my .mp3 files onto my BlackBerry using the Media Manager, I get a fatal error screen. I have a microSD card in my BlackBerry. So it's not that.

How do I transfer music/movies onto my BlackBerry without getting a fatal error message?

(Please, no BS responses.)

Social distance is the degree to which people are accepted or not accepted. Willingness to admit someone to one's family shows the least social distance [1 on the social distance scale], and refusal to admit them to the country shows the greatest social distance [7 on the social distance scale].

Surprisingly, social distance in America with regard to many ethnic groups has actually been rising since 1975.

Why do you think social distance has not declined despite all the efforts to foster "diversity" and "equality?"

Have you seen examples of social distance (such as mean-spirited ethnic jokes or prejudiced remarks)? Being careful not to reveal anyone's identity or repeat any offensive remarks, give an example of what you have heard or seen. How did you react to the incident?

when I have to go through that certian part of town (which isn't very often thank God), I always see they leave junk in thier front yards. Like busted up old toys, candy wrappers, stolen bicycles, empty beer bottle, etc... It looks horrible. If they had more respect for themselves, they'd get more respect from us!

Imperial capitalists must killed off tribal people for the fact tribal people would not be dependent on a social market place as they can sustain themself. Not to mention they would not believe in property tax and such.

Sure there is more to the picture, but Ill omit the essay.

What is your thinking?

Are you sure you are 100% pure blood not mixed with anyother races, lots of American Aficans said they are 100% black but they look difference from the African blacks.
I am an asian myself,I am not really sure am I 100% asian.
I born in Chinese small city, history book said there are a lots of Middle easterns lived in there 400-200 years ago, so I might mixed with little middle easterns blood. And I have a big circle eyes, not the almond shape eyes.
and the one drop rule,if you have one drop is not white then you are not white, like the one 1/4 asian has blue eyes and white facial still a asian .I know lots of white people have American Indian blood and latin blood, are they still white?
because white people said if you have 5% other races blood, you are not a white anymore.

It says in my sociology book that the 4 steps to an experiment are: (1) State cause and effect, (2) Measure value of effect, (3) expose the effect to the cause, (4) measure effect again for change.

I understand all but step 3. What does step 3 mean?

I am very interested in sociology and the concept of white flight and midddle to upper-middle class people's moves to the suburbs interests me. I've heard about the Newark race riots what I can't understand is this: Did Newark just suck really bad all along or did it get worse causing those who could afford to to go to a nicer area
