....created the perfect generation of people? That is, they do not make the mistakes people make, and are well disciplined and selfless. Could this mean that human beings are by nature curious for the harmful, selfish and generally bad?

I'm taking a criminal justice class at SFSU. The professor gave a lecture on serial killers and mentioned the Zodiac killer. Anyone can tell me a little about him/her because I don't know anything about those murders? I just want to get a brief idea of the story so that I may pick him/her and do more research for my paper. Thanks

I have a theory that we are biologically wired to distrust outsiders and people who look different. When we were hunter gather societies different groups of people probably fought over limited resources, good hunting territory, good water sources, etc, etc. Could it be that we are genetically pre-disposed for racisim?

and now she doesn't want to get them and I'm kind of mad because I was just telling her what she wanted to hear "i like you just the way you are" but I want her to get them. Should I try to talk her into changing her mind? If you were her what would you think if I came back to you and suggested that you actually do it?

Okay I cheated on her for a long time and she found out about it ..no big deal. So then she calls me on my cell today and tells me she's coming to my house to "kill my soul". I hang up in her face and turn off on my lights so she thinks no one is home whenever she comes and im looking out a window and see a black car slowly drive by the house to times and then it didnt come back. This was also my fiance, I was thinking about apologizing but do you think it's safe? I found a knife under my pillow and I was babysitting earlier today so I don't know if one of the kids did it.

I don't know, I'm not going to say most. But I am 17 and my family/household is a very wealthy one. But we have a lot of problems, we're not close and very dysfunctional. Everyone thinks because of what I have everything is okay. I have friends that really don't have much but it seems the ones that don't....their families are always rich in love. Friends that I have had that "have it all" always have dysfunctions regarding the family. Something is always terribly wrong.

The concept of empowerment has gained much interest both in mass media, government, non-governmental and academic spheres. What does this term mean? Do you believe in it, is it something which is acheivable and who must empower and how and when and more importantly why?

Has anyone ever taken this kind of class, and does it require math knowledge such as statistics, etc? I can't tell from what my university says about it (just that it discusses qualitative and quantitative approaches) and I'm trying to make sure that I have the background for this class before I get into it.
