If you make fun, ridicule or deride someone because of the colour of their skin, you will generally be considered by society as racist and rightly so. It is no longer acceptable to pick on someone because of their 'race given' appearance or something else personally intrinsic. In that case, why does this not seem to apply to another genetic, birth given traits like hair colour?

As a kind of sub-question, why does this prejudice only seem to really exist in the UK? To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't seem to be an issue in other countries around the world...

My boyfreind said he had a confession to make and he made it last night, he told me he "likes the cockatoo". But there is no cockatoo anywhere near my house or anything. Should I check down the street somewhere or wait out to see if there is one coming in my backyard? Another thing is, I'm trying to understand his obsession with a bird, could he have just been playing?

and I find it kind of annoying. Alot of it has to do with the embarrassment of them following me, but I feel that I'm not acting enough like Jesus. I shouldn't care what other's think for befriending them, but I do. It's a complicated thing.
