e.g. Herodotus thought the Ancient Indians were weird because they killed and ate their elders when they were on the verge of death as a mark of respect.

That the whole world seems to accept an economic structure that demands we work more than we play.

If we all wanted to,we could throw that away but we don't.

How bizzare we've backed ourselves into this corner.

The weirdest thing about our society is eating the flesh of living animals who have souls like humans and who feel the pain and agony when killed in any way .Isn't it the weirdest thing to make a meal of a living soul and kill them indiscriminately .How one would feel if ones near and dear ones were killed and eaten with relish.By the way our molars and digestive system are for a vegetarian diet as we do not have incisors like dogs and cat family ,we are more akin to cattle who feed on vegetation.Going against the nature is weird don't you think so?

Not sure if my response is going to fit in or not ...

Why can a man have sex with 100 women and be patted on the back and called a stud but when a woman does it, she is regarded as a trollop?

Even stranger, men see two women together sexually and say that it's hot. They see two men together and say that it's gross.

Wow, didn’t expect to come up with two sex related responses.

I'd have to say our legal system

There doesn't seem to be any logic in the way sentences are passed.
Compare the sentences given for sex offenders, which seem to be "milder" than those for common thieves

I'm sure better comparisons or examples can be made, but those were the first that came to mind

Its a laugh but for real.

All started at:
"mummy look at me,mummy me , me look AT ME!

the rest is history.

I would say that the most puzzling thing is the willingness of people to believe absurdity - from Santa Claus to George W and the weapons of mass destruction. massive self-delusion ???

All human beings are made the same by the god; but some pieces of paper(money) make so much difference.

Our total lack of homogoninity (I hope that is a real word) is supposed to be a strength of America, but the fractionilization of our society is what is causing this country so much anguish.
