My boyfreind said he had a confession to make and he made it last night, he told me he "likes the cockatoo". But there is no cockatoo anywhere near my house or anything. Should I check down the street somewhere or wait out to see if there is one coming in my backyard? Another thing is, I'm trying to understand his obsession with a bird, could he have just been playing?

There are three possibilities that I came up with...
1. He's telling you he is gay/bi.
2. He is really on something and you may not know.
3. He sees a bird in his world and he should seek help.
...or this all could be a silly game for you to thik he is crazy so you will break up with him. Hmmmmm.

why didnt you ask him"What Cockatoo?" when he said this?
He might just be, being silly. or maybe he means he likes the Cock too?
My exhusband developed Schizophrenia while we were married. Id keep an eye on things if he is serious. It can become vey scary if he is crazy.
