I have worked in the caring professions for 27 years now. Guess that means I care a lot, to make a career of it.
But I'm older, wiser, harder and a darn sight more cynical than ever.
I never give money to charity, if that's what you're after. (in your question), not literally.

Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. I care a lot about other people - and that includes what they may be suffering from. It's not always easy to take it all in though. It's easy to become overwhelmed by it all. So like most people [I'm sure] I 'click the channel' whenever another 'starving kid commercial' comes on. But I DO support a kid in Cambodia. [Which is something we should all do] As for those suffering closer to home - I always try to be compassionate and sensitive. Even on this Yahoo Answers 'thing'. I never mock someone or try to make them feel even worse. I try to be considerate, compassionate and kind. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

I care alot about other's sufferings even those i do not know, i have a genuwine concern for them, I show i care, by bein' a shoulder that others can lean on! i allow myself to be available as a person they can talk to, in their time of need, i think that people's happiness is very important, i dont have it, so i want others to be able to have it.

I say "aah"!
No really I do care and I particularly care about children and their sufferings. I don't have much time to do any volunteering but I do give a monthly donation to some charities.

If it's somebody I know personally, e.g. a neighbour who has maybe lost somebody, I'll offer to help them or just talk to them if they want to talk. If it's somebody in a far off land that has suffered at the hands of some disaster, then I'll donate to the relevant charities.

very deeply, and i show this by giving all that i can to charity, and participating in direct action. i view it as a human responsibility to stand up for those not as fortunate as others. more people should get on to the streets and let their voices be heard. rather than wasting their time praying and doing absolutely nothing constructive to help......

Helping them how to help themselves. I think most of them need hope or inspiration. In my small way, I talk to some people how they can do something about their problem. Everything has a way, we just have to discover it. In short, never give up.
